"Come Back In One Piece is released.
The music video, "Come Back In One Piece" was directed by Little X. It was filmed in March 2000 in Yonkers, DMX’s hometown, and Mount Vernon, New York.
Speaking of DMX and the film “Romeo Must Die”: In a 2011 interview with Billboard, DMX stated that Aaliyah and Romeo Must Die’s producer Joel Silver personally asked him to be a part of the film, stating: “When I was on tour, her and Joel Silver came to my dressing room to see if I wanted to be a part of the movie”, adding: “Most people would have their people call, but she came herself. I’m like, ‘Is this a trick question? You have to ask me if I want to be in a movie with Aaliyah? Hell yeah.’ We [then] met up in Vancouver to [do] Romeo Must Die.”

January 22, 2025, Keke Palmer would appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show (S6 E73) and talk about her new comedy "One of Them Days," and having "instant chemistry" with her co-star SZA. In the clip she briefly mentions Aaliyah and Romeo Must Die.
She mentions how her and the DivaGurl have a song called "Afford It" and how the song comes on in the movie and that there is a music video and that she wanted the same vibe as music videos (on a soundtrack) that threw in clips of the movie in it ...
"It reminds of back in the day, ya know movies like 'Soul Food' or even Romeo Must Die with Aaliyah. Give me a little song that go with the movie. You know? and have the clips going in between. You know? So, that's the Vibe"
