21 years since Romeo Must Die (RMD) was released and our Aaliyah graced the silver screen with a Silvers Pictures production. Most people will never see how relevant this movie is and how Aaliyah as Trish O’Day was a plan in action. Well we are here to enlighten you. We can call it all to “coincidence” or revelations.

Back on 3.22.2000 no one was talking about the Black Panther Party, gentrification, 9-11 didn’t happen yet, China as a world economic power, Triad, Heroine, Black owners in NFL, new football stadium in San Fran area, Arab terrorists, Pizzagate, legalizing marijuana, Chinese and Black/ African relations and more. Yet these themes are prevalent in the movie and in the last 4 years until now, they are what’s what.

We can see her being marked with 3 strokes at her right eye on the movie posters. Was this a sign? Similar to the marking of Princess Leia in Force Awakens before the actress playing her passed.
Some cool things to note in the last 21 years in regards to Aaliyah and Romeo Must DIe RMD include Pi’erre Bourne’s Romeo Must Die song paid homage to Aaliyah in his June 20, 2019 release of Pierre 4 one year after her Mac Cosmetics launch on June 21st, 2018.

There was a 2006 movie that came out called “John Tucker Must Die” taking on the MUST DIE train to RMD. It costarred Ashanti whose fame rose after the passing of Aaliyah. She even bares a midriff top giving an Aaliyah reminder. The brunette in the movie also dons an Aaliyah hair do.
