(NIV) Genesis 19.38 - The younger daughter also had a son, and she named him Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites of today.

Ben-Ammi means something like "Son of my kinsman."  The impact of these nations could be telling of how the Lord saw how they came about.  The mention of descendants leads me to wonder if or how long it took for them to move from those mountains.  They would also be foreign to any of the remaining societies, leading me to believe that their customs may differ from any of the nations thus far.
