I’m kind of glad that I picked a trail that randomly disappeared at times, because wandering off-trail led me to some really cool spots that I would never have seen if I’d stuck to any path... Like this little slot canyon with a waterfall

Well, we survived a week in the wilderness!

This little 10lb dog is out doing all the stuff that so many people have convinced themselves they can’t do. And he’s loving every second of it 💖

One of the biggest, and I think possibly the highest elevation, of all the lakes we visited- with sides all too steep to camp anywhere near it 😭

Absolutely beautiful though, the photos don’t do any of it justice...

I still can’t decide if I want to go backpacking up here again, or venture somewhere new for my next trip.. 🤔
