Backstage is released. The Comique ‘two-reeler’ was the first Buster Keaton made after returning from WWI. It was also the only two-reeler comedy to be released in colour. Al St John had a reduced role with Jackie Coogan Sr (father of Jackie Coogan, the kid of Chaplin’s ’The Kid’) appearing at length with an eccentric dance routine.
