It has been a trying time, and to make sure it stays challenging my spinal stenosis (just a silly excuse the doc gave me not to train as heavy) kicked back in! So if been struggling a little to walk the last few days, yeah it’s got so@etching to do with nerves being inflamed due to shoddy training as a youth! Anyway I started working the core tonight, very light as my back is a challenge and doing anything fast makes me slow! So back in the saddle tonight with just 10 reps, hip flexors to work the flutes and the lower back (this one might take a while to recoup from!) 10 reps of shoulder crunches (not moving my hips/spine still a tad tender) 10 reps of the cat and cow just smoothing out the inflammation in in the back! And staring to regain mobility! 10 reps of quadrilaterals (on all fours alternating left leg and right arm out and vice versa) to also hit that lower back . . . . Slowly easy and very softly doing it! Let’s get pain free and powerful!! Woohoo! #recovery #backtolevelnone #levelone #fitness #training #monday https://www.instagram.com/p/ClhKWfzD5DG/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
