BTS Essentials by marleyvincent-ufm
Hey you guys! Here is my first post to kick off the series.
Essentials you need:
Gum - Of course, gum isn’t even technically allowed at most schools but it’s still good to have even if you have to sneak it.
Pen, Pencils, Etc. - Duh. You need something to write with! I like to use mechanical pencils and there are a pack of rollerball gel pens in 5 different colors that are inexpensive and I get them every year from Dollar General lol (along with a pack of skittles *wink wink* reblog if you peep the reference ) I also like to keep highlighters on hand.
Ponytail Holders - You never know when its just too hot or when you’ll have a separate reason to pull your hair up.
Water Bottle - Whether you use a refillable bottle or just bring a plastic bottle everyday, it’s important to stay hydrated.
Snacks - Sometimes lunch is nasty, but that doesn’t mean we have to starve. Healthier snacks like KIND bars, toasted coconut flakes, dried fruit with no added sugar and so much more are great to have.
Sanitizer - Because boys have cooties and Bath and Body works makes them smell really good.
Planner - Stay organized with due dates, practices, tests and anything else that needs to be written down. You can find cute inexpensive planners at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx
Earbuds - Self explanatory, but if you’re not sure what to listen through them, just wait for my playlist of the season.
Lip Balm - I refuse to allow you to walk around with crusty lips. Burt’s Bees and Eos are great.
Hand Cream - You can’t have crusty hands either. Bliss makes good hand cream, as does Mary Kay, The Body Shop, Shea Moisture and many more places.
Oil Blotting Sheets - Yes, the dewy look is in. No, that does not mean to let our skin have a free for all. I use the one’s made by Mary Kay but you can use Clean and Clear and even cut up coffee filters.
Pain Reliever - This is another thing you probably don't want to get caught with but there’s nothing worse than having cramps 2nd period and having to go through the whole day miserable because of heartless teachers who don’t want to let you go to the nurse's office.
Tea - You need something in the mornings to help get you going and coffee isn’t good to have everyday. I love Happy Me by English Tea Shop, Orange Chiffon by Tazo, or just any brand of green tea in the morning.
Backpack - No need to explain.
Calculator - By the time you hit the eighth or ninth grade you’re going to need a TI-84. However they can be pricey but I have a post for that.
Binders, Notebooks - How many you need of each depends on what your teachers require. I like to get Avery binders with the clear view pocket from Walmart so I can change how I decorate it as often as I please.
Well, that about sums this post up. Share some of your essentials and your favorite places to get them!
