Backstory:
As the Omnic crisis began when he was 9 years old, he was a fortunate child to be living in Oasis with the rest of his family. The growing threat called his father Jarvis to enter into the war to battle the coming crisis, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of his life, which devastated the rest of the family. Despite what happened in the Omnic Crisis, Cyron does not hate Omnics, and treats them as equals.
Ten years later, he would be informed that his brother was insistent on leaving home to join Overwatch in its prime, and put an end to the Omnic crisis as a member of the HSI. Shortly after he had left home, Cyron also set out to join Overwatch to keep an eye on his reckless brother, to put his fathers nerves at ease. Cyron was the more cautious and thoughtful of the two, and was more likely to succeed in battle through strategy, rather than the brute force which followed his brother around.
He is a support hero, and a sniper; so staying out of sight is his best ability. On missions where he would be fighting alongside his brother, he would be sure to stay out of sight of him to ensure Michio would remain oblivious to his presence in Overwatch. After a year of active duty, Cyron was transferred to Blackwatch, which he wasn’t exactly pleased to hear, but it allowed him to be more open with his existence for a change, since the two companies didn’t seem to get along. During his time in Blackwatch, he had the fortune of making many friends, and even a partner.
As things began to slip more and more between Overwatch and Blackwatch, Cyron felt unsafe in their situation, and in one of his last battles was left with the belief that his partner had- as far as anyone had known- committed suicide on the field to save the rest of their team after a malfunction in his mech-suit prevented him from ejecting during its self-destruct sequence.
He was crushed, and ultimately felt he was to blame for not being there to support his lover, and as a result he took it out on himself. It was fuel to push him to ensure that no one on his team took more damage than they could handle. As pressure built between his fear of failure, and the public roar of Blackwatch’s scandals, Cyron had come to the conclusion that it was time to resign from Blackwatch, and take his name off of such a high danger list. The best way to do that was death.
During his last battle (which took place in Numbani), as things were drawing to a close in another victory, Cyron had prepared a suitcase for himself with any valuables from his locker, and he set out across Numbani to get back home to Oasis via train. Using his ability to cloak himself was the only way to escape without a trace of his leaving the battlefield, and the city.
As a headcount and roll-call rang out to recognize any lost soldiers, Cyron’s name was called and never answered. To fake his death, he would leave a mystery in his wake.
