Link cosplay wig update ✨
This is from the same wig stylist I worked with before, so I was really looking forward to it.
The first photos were very blurry because my wig stylist’s phone had been stolen, so I was a little worried at first.
But she was still working on it late at night, and after a few detail adjustments, the clearer photos look much better now. 🥹
Clearer photos above, early WIP photos below.

I'm working on a wig cap for Senku Ishigami, and have probably redone this like 5 TIMES, and I'm finally happy with the shape and the curve on it but I have never done this before if anyone has any advice for working in that many decreases in the round. Im wondering if I should skip ch's eventually to make it more tight but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?
The idea us that this will be the cap and I'll feed in longer pieces with these two skeins
This tyedye yarn is so perfect for Senku because it's got the perfect contrast of blue-green, mint green and a very mild yellow. Not sure if I'll do the canonic spikes or the fanon hair down approach but I'm open to suggestions.

Holy Hell it has been a journey learning to style this wig! I finally got it to a place I'm excited about.
I went through about 5-6 wigs before I got the hang of it! Then I used the botched ones to fill in this one 😂😂
Why do you need to make wefts? It’s already wefted, you just need a seam ripper.
That's a good question! You could definitely just seam rip the wefts off of the wig, but I chose to make my own because I needed shorter pieces of hair for this character, and so I divided up each piece I cut off into smaller pieces. Having the wefts being smaller pieces then makes it easier for me to handle for re-gluing them back on the wig base!
Making wefts also helps if you need to make a seamless hair line, a part in the hair, or if you need to make unnatural shapes for the hair to sit in!
