Ingredients: 12 fresh jalapeo peppers, halved lengthwise and seeds removed. 1 cup cream cheese, softened. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 12 slices of bacon, cut in half. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your Traeger smoker to 375F 190C. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Fill each jalapeo half with the cheese mixture, smoothing the tops with a spoon. Wrap each stuffed jalapeo with a half-slice of bacon and secure with toothpicks. Arrange the bacon-wrapped jalapeos on a wire rack or directly on the Traeger smoker grates. Smoke the poppers for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeos are tender. Remove from the smoker and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve the smoked bacon-wrapped jalapeo poppers as a delicious appetizer or snack.
