BC apparently this needs to be said, I am in fact, not stupid, and KNOW the god is a persistence predator thing predates O'Connor, it's been in my blog description for ages because god as haunting and god as predator and god as terror is a favourite of mine, since long before I read her, and I've been obsessed with Francis Thompson for eons.
