Artificial Divisions Meant to Divide and Conquer Us
Good minorities (Asians) versus bad minorities (Blacks, Muslims, and ‘illegals’) Pro-life versus pro-choice Real Democrats versus fake Democrats True patriots versus the blame America first crowd Bernie Bros versus Hillbots Snowflakes versus people who agree with me When we use phrases that oversimplify, misrepresent, and marginalize people and issues, we behave how people in power who create these terms want us to. By manipulating us to keep the people divided, we can never gather enough political power to achieve the goals that most of us want. Instead, people in power can keep their jobs, amass political power, and not necessarily change anything.
