This trend is just outright bullying
I occasionally see this trend on YouTube where people are judging you about what you wear or what you enjoy in media. They're all like
"If you enjoy stuff like this, then you must be x, y, and z."
or
"If you wear stuff like this, then you're a this and this and that."
I just don't find any of that necessary, even if they label it as a "joke" or something. Like why are they so hyper-focused about what others wear in a day or what they consume in media?
Most of the things they're making fun of isn't even harmful in any way and are normal things, they're just being overly judgmental. There's a huge difference between having an opinion and just being downright mean about it.
Some people either don't know where to draw that line or they just don't care at all. Either way, I just don't understand the appeal in this trend and why others think it's entertaining.

Worst trend you participated in
I am going to agree with my fellow tumblrs who lived through the 70’s. Those were the worst trends, for sure. Especially the clothes.
I wore a one piece polyester pantsuit with an oversized zipper that went from my crotch to my neck.
One of my favorite outfits was a matching mini skirt and vest, made from white faux fur.
But the worst were the shoes. I hated those stupid espadrilles, shoes with laces that I had to tie up my legs.
Oh, and Earth Shoes, which were higher in the front than back, and wooden clogs, which were so cumbersome.
What were we thinking?
