Character A goes to a bar, but, their drink is unknowingly spiked with a powerful narcotic, this brings on a potent ‘drug trip’ filled with past horrors and their worst nightmares, once the trip is over, they are left with a scorching fever and bouts of vomiting while their body tries to clear itself of the drug.
