I just think Jason Todd has ways of communicating with you even if he’s not able to message or call you bc he’s on some sort of mission or whatever.
Even if he can’t message back, he’s reading all your texts, needs you to keep sending them, telling him about your day, what you made for dinner, how much progress you’ve made on that art project you took up in his absence.
And he’s buying you things online, sending you packages; somehow figuring out exactly what you’ve been wanting, either remembering something you mentioned or by logging in to all your shopping accounts and just hitting “purchase cart.”
And he’s probably got some app connected to the lights in your apartment, too, so he can turn them down and orange when he sees that you’re up late (as if to say, you should be sleeping). Or he’s programmed the coffee pot so that it’s always brewed for right when you wake up, still piping hot. He can’t exactly make sure you have milk in the fridge to top it off, but he can at least make sure you have enough in the bank to go buy some, if that’s what you need.
