Ninjago obviously gets a goofy writing pass because it’s a kids lego show but I think Kai’s re-entry was unironically cool as fuck. The second he reappeared I was like “wait a second… HE STILL HAS HIS POWERS” which I hadn’t even thought of and he did in fact still have his powers. and then he saved the day

Taking on the pain by itself wouldn't have torn Zoro's clothes like this, but the area of blood spatter indicates he was writhing around quite a bit, which would certainly do the trick

I’ve been thinking about this after Young Blood, Old Souls, and you know what? 

Good on Luz for being angry. Good on her for absolutely WREAKING HAVOC on the Emperor’s Coven guards. Good on her for charging at Lilith with tears in her eyes, unrestrained rage, and a burning desire to kill her after what she did to Eda. Good on her for basically calling Lilith a bitch (you know if the show wasn’t rated TV-Y7 she would have absolutely done so). Good on her for pointedly not even paying attention to her near the end of the finale.

Good on Luz for teaching young kids that if someone’s wronged you, you deserve to raise hell about it.
