today attack on titan anime has ended. i discovered this anime in 2016 and soon after watching the first season i picked up the manga. the love story between historia reiss and ymir was my wlw sapphic awakening. yumihisu is my favourite ship in fiction and historia is one of my comfort characters. i love her so much. after being introduced to aotwt in 2020 it was a big surprise to me how deeply misunderstood and mischaracterized historia’s character is. she is a lesbian. ymir is a lesbian too. but that’s a whole other discussion. i want to celebrate them and thank Isayama and both of the studios for creating the story and the wonderful characters. to my dear historia - i love you 🩷
