badgermao version: mao asks the king for formal dance lessons so he can impress badgerclops

ot3 version: BC, mao, and the king are already dating but the king is the only one who knows how to formal dance. 

snugglemagne teaches his boyfriends for one of their 1 on 1 dates, and also so that he’ll have dance partners for any future royal galas and such

badgerclops vs king snugglemagne for mao mao (could also start out as that but end up as badgermagne)

king snugglemagne putting the moves on mao mao and trying to out-romance badgerclops who is also into mao mao

the king acts(?) scared and asks the sheriff to protect him

throws an arm around mao’s shoulder and steers him towards something (and away from badgerclops)

leaning on mao mao while glancing saucily at badgerclops who’s steaming in the background because ‘how DARE you that is MY best friend/ crush/ co hero’

it becomes a battle for mao’s affections but he’s too busy teaching adorabat how to be a hero (dadmao)

adorabat GETS it (eg: like when she pieced together why mao exaggerated bao bao’s memory, she gets that they’re into mao mao)

you decide who she sides with but personally i think she’d go with badgerclops since the 3 of them already live together (hero found family)

at one point adorabat says they’re a family of heroes and mao mao starts crying

badgerclops vs king snugglemagne arm wrestling 

food eating contest but mao mao didn’t know it was just between the two of them so he joins in too but eats too much, badgerclops either wins or forfeits but endgame is that he picks mao mao up like ‘dude you know you can’t eat that much’ and takes him back home
