BIO POINTS

Clara Ana Abrams was born with a princess crown places delicately on her head two minutes before the stroke of midnight. Seconds from being the first baby born in Lima in the new year. The crown didn’t stay straight on her head for very long though, in fact the baby girl practically tore it off herself before she realized the dreams that were had for her by her family.

She was meant to become something amazing, to be the star student and child and grow up to be extraordinary. Instead it seemed like she was quite the opposite, ‘Princess’ Clara never quite fit in with the others. She was loud and obnoxious and was less likely to attend tea parties as she was to kick a ball in the mud. She loved athletics and was often quite rough on the soccer field. The problem was that aggressiveness often followed her off the field and into the class room or playground and even home. 

It wasn’t that Clara was a violent or angry person, it was just that she tended to wear her heart on her sleeve and absolutely hated that about herself. So she chose to cover it up with a hard exterior that more than often got herself into trouble. She was getting herself into fights for sometimes no reason and doing her best to stay strong while fighting her own demons that she desperately wanted to push away. 

Clara came from a loving family, she knew that. She knew that her family loved her and her siblings more than anything and that they were doing everything that they could to take care of them. They never had enough money though, not for the amount of kids they had and not when the job market was dwindling and good paying jobs to support a family just kept disappearing. When her dad lost his job her sophomore year of high school she stepped up and started working to help as much as she good. It never quite felt to be enough though and within a year she had dropped out of school and started working full time at a waitress while her family worked to recover from the crash of their finances. 

She told her friends that she was transferring to another school refusing to let anyone know that her family was downsizing to a tiny home and struggling to get back onto their feet. 

Nearly two years later, Clara is working on her GED during the year that would have been her senior year of high school while working at Breadstix in Lima and continuing the front that everything is going just fine in her life. In reality she is now living in her car to help alleviate her parents feeling the need to care for her. At the age of 18 she is taking young adulthood into her own hands and caring for herself so that they don’t have to. No one knows that she is living in her car and doing everything she can to survive while giving her parents the extra money she has to continue to help them out. 

But she’s happy. If you ask her on any given day she’ll tell you, she’s happy and has goals to make her world even more brighter.

Isaac was born into the quintessential American family. His parents were high school sweethearts, hard working middle class folks who might’ve had kids a little young but damn it all they had each other, even with the salaries of a mechanic and a waitress. Maybe they didn’t always have the most money but Dwight and Mary taught their children there were more important things in life. Isaac looked up to his dad like the guy singlehandedly hung the moon. He spent as much time as possible with him and hung onto every word of cheesy fatherly wisdom that came out of his mouth. Daycare options were as limited as the Evans’ income so they rotated between hanging around the auto shop, the diner, and their aunt’s house. Isaac cherished the days he spent with his dad the most, learning the ins and outs of what made a car tick and when he was old enough he started helping his old man out. Family was the most important thing in his life hands down.

School came easy for Isaac. He’d always been able to seamlessly float between cliques and dodge stereotypes. He was nerdy but athletic enough for it to not be a pitfall. He was funny without being obnoxious, confidence straddling the line of arrogance, and charming enough that his bisexuality was just another shoulder-shrugging-that’s-Isaac-for-ya moments. So he was a little bit of an enigma but it suited him well. His grades were good enough, he’d joined the JROTC, and he got into just the appropriate amount of trouble. For once his parents weren’t struggling under the weight of having three kids and life was great. Easy. At least for a while.

When Isaac was 15, Dwight was shot in a mugging slash attempted carjacking and the Evans were devastated. And the hits didn’t stop coming. They lost their dad, his auto shop, their house, and their mother kind of lost her mind in a span of a few weeks. Isaac was left the scrape up the pieces. He worked tirelessly to keep them afloat in their tiny two bedroom apartment on the worse side of town. Did his best to take care of his siblings and nurse his mother’s mental state back into some semblance of healthy and balanced. Tried to keep them all healthy and balanced. It took a while (almost a full two years) but they bounced back. It had been a long fall, after all. Mary was back on her feet and found a decent job, alleviating some pressure and allowing Isaac some space to enjoy his last year of high school. Despite working his ass off, Isaac missed out on his chance for a scholarship and it seemed like his dreams of college went with it. He took a year off post graduation while Mary pushed and prodded the whole way until Isaac relented. He’d saved up enough from a few jobs anyway to get settled in and find a new more stable job to sustain himself on. Isaac vowed not to rely on his mom for a single penny. She had enough on her plate anyway.

It’s ironic really. All he’s wanted to do for the longest time was help people. Make the world a better, safer place. Instead he found himself involved in one hell of a crime ring, lifting cars and reaping the rewards. All this after losing his father, the man who taught him everything he knows about cars, in a carjacking gone south. See? Ironic. Not that he’s a carjacker, no no no, he’s just a lowly car… theiver. Cuts out the middle man, no citizens involved. Just the way he likes it. Isaac tries to justify it to himself. He does his best to not steal cars he knows belong to people less well off, targets the rich almost exclusively. He doesn’t want to burden his mom, he wasn’t smart enough for a scholarship, and part time jobs only part time relieve the financial burden. He was doing what he had to do to get by. Besides, the majority of what he made was sent back to his mom anyway. That was that. Except the times it wasn’t. The times he picked up extra jobs he didn’t need but, well, the boss asked and Isaac works for some terrifyingly powerful people so maybe he’s bitten off a little more than he can chew. It has the full potential to ruin his future career, his relationships, hell, his life. But he can handle it and when he needs to stop, which will be soon, he swears, he’ll be able to. They’ll understand. Right?

Despite his current questionable method of income, Isaac is a good kid. More than anything he wants to prove he can come out of this on the better side and be the best possible cop he can be. For himself and for his dad. As it stands, Isaac is fairly well-known around campus as he Designated Drunk Dad™. He makes sure the phone number of a personal second cell is readily available to everyone on campus who needs a lift home after a rager or in general feels unsafe. It assuages his guilt in the right ways while fulfilling his desire to be helpful, even if the number gets its fair share of prank calls. Win some lose some. He’s making good grades, his roommate isn’t awful, and his social life is flourishing. The other shoe is firmly in the air, looming over Isaac’s head for the precise moment to drop.

Quinn Fabray was supposed to be perfect. Feminine. Poised. The best of the best; and he was, or he claimed to be. He buried his feelings of inadequacy, of being an outsider in his own body, of being the perfect daughter his parents wanted him to be. Cheerleader, beauty queen, everything his parents wanted. The polar opposite of his twin sister. It wasn’t him, though. It made him hard and angry, with a temper like no other, and a straight up bitch.

He watched the way his twin sister faded into the background. The way his older brother fought to just be a person, particularly after his hockey accident. Quinn knew his parents weren’t the most loving nor accepting people and while he was close with his siblings, he never voiced the way he felt. It was easier to play pretend, be who everyone thought he was, even if he was slowly losing his own mind.

In his sophomore year, with his sister and brother both out of the house after disputes with their parents, Quinn found himself alone. No one knew who he truly was outside the internet. One horrid afternoon, Quinn would be found standing in the bathroom, wearing a chest binder, a pair of scissors in hand. The fight that ensued left Quinn disowned. With no one in Lima aware that he was trans, Quinn ran to Cleveland. It was the closest place anyone who knew who he truly was existed. He cut contact, not even bothering to tell either of his siblings where he was going, nor why. He thought it was easiest, just disappearing like a ghost in the wind.

In Cleveland, Quinn bounced from location to location, staying with friends and making money, to fund his transition and cost of living, anyway he could. Eventually, one way stuck. Dealing drugs. It was fast, easy money and the risk was easily worth the reward. He didn’t use himself and the art of negotiation and getting out of hostile situations came almost naturally to Quinn. The bonus of not being able to lose his job over being trans was a big part of it too. Ohio didn’t protect trans individuals from losing their jobs and housing the way New York and other, more liberal, states did.

Recently, Quinn decided to return to Lima. Not entirely sure of his decision, but one of his better paying clients, and good friend, had recently made the move and he wanted to keep it. He also wanted to see about reconnecting with his siblings, since the internet opened a door that let him know they were both still in Lima. Quinn supposed this had something to do with the support systems the two had built, but he couldn’t know for sure. While he personally has plans to attend college, eventually, he isn’t entirely sure it’s something he wants just yet.

Quinn is the type of guy who will help you do your makeup but remind you that you’re gorgeous either way. The stone-cold bitch he’d been in high school, an attempt to bury his own pain, faded away as testosterone replaced estrogen, leaving him a soft but fierce man. A lionheart looking to protect those he once hunted.

He let his hair return to its natural brunet, tired of the care that staying a blond required. He’s also in the process of getting bottom surgery, but wants to wait until the summer, as to make it easier. Quinn keeps up with his athletic figure through running track and gymnastics. He has also taken to theater, not necessarily musical theater, since his voice isn’t trained for music anymore, but it doesn’t stop him.

Growing up in Lima Heights wasn’t exactly easy. And for Karla Lopez it was a place were you learned to grow up pretty fast. Her parents were loving but very catholic but it didn’t stop Karla from being a wild child. They didn’t understand her. Her room was full of crystals and star maps. She was a real hippie to say the least. Their family didn’t have a lot of money but Karla didn’t let that get to her. She had fun with her friends, spending time outdoors and just being teenagers. 

Karla was popular in school. She did cheer and dance and had tons of friends. Her favorite hobby though was posing for the camera. Practically becoming an Instagram model she spread around her positive attitude like sunshine. Sometimes she was even a little too friendly. She loved people. Boys, girls and everything in between. It was another thing her parents didn’t understand about her and didn’t exactly approve either. She had become the black sheep of the Lopez household. 

Hooking up with her peers was easy but her taste was much older, even costing her a lot. She went to McKinley High school as a freshman since it was closer to home but ended up transferring to McKinley her sophomore year. No one knows why. Of course her family does. What people didn’t know about Karla was that she got obsessed with people easily. When she liked someone she really liked them. It just so happened to be her English teacher that she was infatuated with. She would drop by his house, write him love letter and it got to a point where he had taken a restraining order on her, forcing her to transfer to Carmel High. Her parents were so embarrassed they kept it a secret from the entire community. 

Even though Karla didn’t always feel like she fit in with her family, she loved them to death. Family was important and a big part of her life. She knew that they loved her even if they didn’t always show it. Her siblings and cousins were her best friends, and she always had a blast with them.

Karla was a pretty fashionable girl. She spent a lot of her money on clothes, not wanting to look like she actually lived in Lima Heights. Her style was typical forever 21 90′s style showing off way too much skin. It sent her to the principle’s office more than a few times. She got into trouble a lot and she saw it as her charm.

Growing up with money meant that Roman was pretty much handed a lot as a child. However, he wasn’t spoiled, no in the Clarington household you were meant to work. There was no slacking off, and anything but perfection was strongly looked down on, or even punished. For Roman, he thrived on this. He was always pushing himself harder, further. He excelled in school, and in sports. He started playing football before he could properly say “field goal” and he never quit. 

Going through school with money, good grades, and being a pretty great athlete meant that he didn’t have to try too hard to make friends, though he did, because he tried hard at everything. He became very charismatic, and could charm almost anyone. It wasn’t hard to see why his father was always so proud of the boy. Still, he somehow did manage to remain humble. He was charming, but he was never arrogant. His mother insisted on manners, and respect, and they were lessons that he took very seriously. 

When it came time for college, he had a pick of choices, and decided to major in Business and Hospitality. He had high hopes to one day own his own hotel, but knew that he’d have to start at the bottom and work his way up. So he began working at the front desk of a near by hotel while taking classes, and eventually, after graduating, with high honors, he was promoted to manager. It’s been almost 9 years, and he’s worked his way up incredibly high, even if it is a two hour drive each way every day to stay at the hotel where he started.  

Last year he was promoted to a Senior VP of Operations of the hotel he’d worked at for almost a decade now. Which was when he was approached by a man named Avi, a man he’d known around the hotel as a guest before, but had never really known what he did to afford to stay so often. Avi explained the business he ran, an escort business. He was looking for a partner, and Roman’s access to the hotel made him perfect for it. Roman was generally a pretty straight shooter, but the idea of making some extra cash to save up and eventually break out into his own business, well it was too tempting to pass up. 

He makes sure everything is very discreet. If dates come to the hotel, they check in as a couple, and there is always someone in a nearby room, with a key card, in case of emergencies. He knows it’s not always a safe business, but he does what he can to protect those who work for him. 

As far as day to day, you can find Roman in business attire, suit pants and button ups, a tie, his hair always done just right. But on the weekends, he’s a bit more relaxed, jeans and t shirts.

Born an only child in a family with excessive amounts of money meant that Isabela was always going to be some variation of spoiled. Of course, it turned out that it was every variation. If she wanted something materially, she got it. If she wanted to do something, she could do it. If she wanted to play a certain game and her friends didn’t, they would always wind up playing Isabela’s game. That was just how things worked, and how they continued to work throughout her life.

While Isabela may be used to getting her own way, and can of course be a total brat at times, she does actually have a heart, too. Once a person gets close to her, they have a friend in her for life, but Isabela will always be very straight up and honest with them. Which is sometimes a good thing, sometimes not so much… At least she’s consistent with her behavior, though. A negative aspect of her personality is in the fact that she’s pretty manipulative when she wants to be, something she learned along with being the popular girl throughout her school career.

As far as talent, Isabela has a lot of it. She can dance, she can cheer, and above all, she can create. Her favorite thing to do has always been to design and make clothing, whether that was for her dolls as a child, for the family dogs, or for herself and her friends as she grew older. With the money to do so thrown at her by her parents whenever she asked for it, and even when she didn’t, Isabela has always been able to purchase the fabrics and materials she’ll need, with her talent only growing throughout the years, so much so that when Isabela applied to college to major in Fashion Design, her impressive portfolio made her a shoe in.

Naturally, Isabela does not need extra money. She doesn’t even have a job, nor has she ever had one. Why would she need to when her parents filter money into her bank account weekly? However, that didn’t stop her from getting involved with someone who turned out to be a sugar daddy. Growing up the popular girl made Isabela kind of drawn to attention, so when an older guy in a bar was hitting on her, she wasn’t about to push him away. In fact, she kind of basked in the whole of it, even bragging that she had an “older boyfriend.” What people don’t realize is that he’s essentially paying her to do whatever she wants for him, but Isa doesn’t need to tell anybody that part.

For the most part, Isabela has not changed throughout the years. She has a fiery personality, and can befriend people if she wants to, or talk down to those she feels it necessary to. She knows how to command attention, and can flirt with people of any gender. Isa has had both boyfriends and girlfriends, with no preference.

As for her style, she’s a Fashion major, so of course she always stays on top of the latest trends. Her future career goals are to own her own fashion empire; she plans for it to be her first and last job, a lifelong one for her. When a person has been handed the world so far, though, she may be in for a big reality check real, real soon.

BIO POINTS

Alexander Fabray or Alex as he liked to be called was the first born of the Fabray clan. His siblings were always his favorite people in the whole world. When they were younger they were really close even though Alex was fiercely independent. He was close with all of his siblings and always felt like he had to protect them, but the responsibility of his siblings and wanting to be his own person clashed sometimes. His parents weren’t always super supportive and when they were the whole fake happy family was painfully obvious.To escape from all of that, sports became a big passion for him, specifically hockey. 

He loved playing so much and he was mvp on his team in high school. But it wasn’t a safe sport to say the least. After a back accident his sophomore year of high school he lost a lot of his hearing. Permanently. The doctors were hopeful that his hearing would come back but after six months he knew things weren’t going to change. With an expensive hearing aid and reluctant parents to actually buy it for him he could hear but it wasn’t the same so he found a place within the deaf community. He learned ALS and taught his siblings and everything. His parents on the other hand refused. They couldn’t stand the idea of having a “disabled” son. When things went down with his siblings, Alex decided to leave to. The rest of high school he stayed with his best friend, living there until college.

Alex was a smart guy, he did fairly well in school and was always underestimated because of his hard of hearing state. He attended Lima University not straying from his hometown and studied journalism. He loved writing and it became an outlet for him when he stopped playing hockey. As a senior he got a job at the local newspaper. Its not a permanent career but for now he likes it. 

On the side though he is really good at forgery. Always had been. He forged his parents signatures for school trips, getting out of class. Most people knew him as the guy that made fake IDs and still does. What he doesnt tell people though is that a lot of company’s have came to him about faking documents, usually tax stuff or anything to do with money or health. The illegal stuff that he can’t tell anyone otherwise its off to jail, but the money he makes from it is worth the risk.

When it came to relationships Alex wasn’t exactly an open book. He was quiet and a little secretive. He kept his walls up and didn’t usually let people in. BIO POINTS

Jackie Puckerman grew up in a very materialistic household. With her father being a very renowned surgeon and mother working as an orthodontist, it was easy to be spoiled. She never really had to earn anything in her life since she was already given the world. Jackie had a person for nearly every daily task of her life. A personal chef, a housekeeper, and a nanny. Jackie can be very dependent on others due to the fact that she doesn’t know how to be alone and fend for herself. She usually relies on others to get stuff done for her since that was the way she grew up. She only knows how to be treated like a princess. Getting her hands dirty wasn’t her forte. Instead of moping about the absence of her parents, she decided to use it to her advantage. She could have company whenever she wanted, parties, and best of all? No curfew. Sure, she didn’t know how to do basic tasks such as doing laundry or even vacuuming but that’s what she had her service people for. To serve her. She knew she was set for life.

Being well-off would get to her head quite often and everyone wasn’t her biggest fan in school. They’d get tired of her bragging about her new diamond earrings or how her parents are adding a home theater. Jackie was popular in school, but it was only because of her parties. No one really liked her for her personality. She realized this after one of her “friends” randomly went off on her and called her brat. She noticed that a lot of people, if not everyone, felt this way about her which honestly surprised her. Jackie wasn’t a mean person. She could be conceited and selfish, but she wasn’t rude. At least she didn’t think so. Sure, she could be a bit sassy or fierce but that just added some extra pizzazz to her. Since she didn’t want to be the most hated person in Ohio, she eased up on her arrogance. She loved being adored and she didn’t appreciate all the fake love she was getting. With the lack of supervision she had, Jackie was down to trying new things. Weird things, fun things, illegal things. She could sometimes get out of control and didn’t know when to stop acting crazy.

Jackie loves how much freedom she gets from her parents. She was lucky. But even though she acted like it didn’t bother her, it did. She had everything she could ever want. With expensive handbags and a nice car, she shouldn’t complain right? She should be happy that her parents worked their asses off so she didn’t have to. Except she wasn’t. Jackie loved being noticed and everyone in Ohio noticed her. Except for her parents. Instead of doing something ridiculous to get her parents attention, she used dance. She’s been attending dance classes since she was younger and she was actually pretty good. Jackie figured that if she did well with her dancing then they would be forced to be proud of her and would take time out to come see her in action.

Girls have always been jealous of Jackie and she knew that. She has had a lot of altercations with the ladies at her school but it wasn’t ever anything to lose sleep about. Sierra was a different story. She’d do anything to ruin Jackie’s day. All over something extremely petty. Sierra was denied entrance at one of Jackie’s notorious party which infuriated her more than it should’ve. Their feud went on for a few months but Jackie eventually grew tired of fighting with her so she decided to end it. There was a million and one ways to get rid of Sierra but Jackie thought that leaking her nudes would be the best way. In hindsight, she could’ve tackled this problem a little bit better. Everyone in Dayton, where Jackie originally lived before she moved to Lima, saw Sierra in a way they’ve never seen her before. Sierra was so upset that she didn’t even go to school. Jackie heard that she dropped out. All of the attention she was getting affected her badly. The guilt was eating her alive. She kind of ruined someone’s life. It wasn’t intentional. The life ruining part, not the sending the nudes part. Jackie just thought it’d be a funny joke. She had no idea it would spiral out of control like this. Everyone in the school knew Jackie was behind all of this and they gave her hell for it. She couldn’t take all of the heat she was getting. She knew it was a coward move but she had to get away. Jackie didn’t want to be in Dayton anymore. She begged her parents to let her transfer to another school. She left her school in her hometown and finished the rest of her senior year in Lima at Carmel High School. Jackie had family that lived in Lima so finding a place to stay wasn’t hard. She was finally rid of Sierra. For now at least.

Lima was a fresh start for Jackie. It wasn’t that far from Dayton, but it was far enough. No one knew about what she did and it was going to stay that way. She was studying at Lima Junior College and living on her own. Life was pretty good, especially since her parents paid most of her bills. She helped out though. Jackie worked at a dance center for younger kids. Ever since the “Sierra Thing”, she’s been trying to become a better person. Being less selfish and more selfless, and helping people instead of talking down to them. It was all very new to her but she was getting there. She slipped up here and there but she wasn’t as vain and rude.
