Dunno if anyone's ever sent you these but this is one of my favourite card storylines in Yugioh (surpassing even Gagagigo), the story of the Condemned Maiden

Here she is stealing various Forbidden holy artefacts (Chalice, Lance, Dress and Scripture, correlating to the Holy Grail, Spear of Longinus, Seamless Robe of Jesus and the Bible) these are all cards that give both a positive and a negative effect like making a monster weaker for a turn but can't destroye by effects that turn for example. You can't quite see it in this compilation but you'll see in the full card art of Forbidden Scripture below.

That she's spotted by God that final time and this is what transitions her story from the Forbidden cards into the Solemn cards

Respectively Solemn Warning (hey don't use the Forbidden Artefacts), Solemn Report (hearing word of her using the Forbidden Artefacts), Solemn Scolding and then Solemn Strike our protagonist's punishments. (keep in mind those two women on God's side they'll be important later). Solemn cards incidentally are all counter traps that negate summons and effects by paying a substantial amount of life points. Now we transition into the Condemned portion of the storyline.

Condemed Maiden having been cast out of heaven for her crimes expected to atone and one day return she instead stews in her fate plotting her revenge (good for her). (These cards incidentally both pull Forbidden cards from that first batch to your hand very flavourful)

She then finally takes her revenge fully embracing the powers of evil and becoming a Darklord. (Witch's Strike is another very fun flavourful card since it counters all of the Solemn Cards)

She also corrupts the two women at God's side I referred to earlier to also fall and become Darklords (once again good for them, power throuple for sure love the way they're designed to sit at her side like this)

At this point her influence and lust for betrayal had grown so much she's not satisfied just being a Darklord she schemes to surpass Darklord Morningstar (Lucifer effectively) and command the Darklords herself (once again good for her). She's once aagain using the effects of her Forbidden Artefacts here to strip Darklord Nasten and Morningstar of their powers, I guess she raided the vault again after taking out God. Darklord Dance isn't necessarily related to this phase I just love the card art and wanted it in here, once again good for them.

i love how in Darklord Dance the two women who were at at god's side are staring into each other so lovingly while the Maiden is busy getting rid of Lucifer himself after taking out god and going into a state of manic vangence (good for her)

Maiden after stripping the Darklords of their powers: now i can go home to my beautiful wives and plan to takeover the whole known universe

the dynamic is me and the baddies i pullled by being a bad bitch and i love maiden for that

You can will any Mass Effect Game (or even piece of media in general if you want) into existence, what genre/plot would you like it to be about?

okayyyy look. i think another game set entirely on omega would be so badass.

it's crime planet! it's full of gangs and shady businesses and dangerous horrible mining and industrial jobs and mercenaries. thinking of something kind of DA2-esque - you play as a small-time crook (playable origins like miner or gangster or maybe a pit fighter or off-worlder who just showed up) and you immediately get embroiled in some kind of power struggle between different forces that want Omega for themselves.

Maybe Aria gets taken out (if not killed then forced to flee maybe?) and now in the power vacuum (and because of a threat to your own life) you have to start wheeling and dealing to stay alive. on the way you collect a ragtag group of crooks and folks on the run with dark pasts whose mutual interests (for now) align with yours

think of all the cool factions and conflicts! maybe a worker's uprising with the miners! the different gangs vying for power! outside corporate interests seeding the planet with their own mercs and disruptors trying to get their piece of the pie!

i think that would fucking own. they'll never do it, but i think it would own

this feels correct to me. does the person she's magicking also perceive their appearance changing? do they know she's doing this, or is it her secret? oh amy.........poor poor amy. do you think there were times when tara & willow were having sex in willow's room and amy was just also there, as a rat? that's messed up.......

Speaking of Unique Monsters though a one off Territorial Rottbart, Immovable Gonzales the big iconic ones with variants poll could be a fun one after the Best Monado poll concludes

That's not a bad idea.

While I've played X, I can't really say who the most iconic Tyrants are, but we at least do have two Rotbart and three Gonzales variations.

And FR has Rotbart Jr. I guess.

I will say though, to me one of the best part of UMs are their names, which will not have much variety if we primarily look at variations of the same one.

If Chasey ate one of Tails' fake emeralds would they become Chasey 1 or some kinda fraction? How many fake emeralds would they need to eat to get a form change?

The only sequence I can think of is that they get a form change to Chaos 1, but it looks kinda Off and they feel "constant indigestion" that never stops until the emeralds are ejected. With 7 or more they become a huge, lazy alligator-like water beast that doesn't do anything and feels mildly tired and burps all the time. Eternally in Flat-Fuck-Friday mode.

Does Toko/Jack make an appearance in your Sakura protag game au or is she just in Towa with Komaru for the duration? I ask cause Jack is pretty much the muscle of the survivors in the game's timeline so I feel there could be something there for an action game based spinoff.

Oh yeah, Sakura would have to stop by Towa city to grab Nagito so they could likely see each other there. (Unless Nagito walked reeeally far away at the end of UDG...?) There could be a moment where they kick ass together, or they tag along for a while and we have three despair girls.

Sakura could also grab Kenshiro while she's over there too, man's probably really tired...

Have you seen about the Netflix Tomb Raider anime they just announced? It's gonna be set in the 2013 reboot continuity apparently. I'm rooting for a Sam return, it could happen

I read on the wiki that originally there were plans to have Edelgard be able to use her Crest of Flames to counter Byleth's time rewind ability and that's such a rad concept I wish it'd made it into the game in some way.

I desperately wish that too!

Like from a gameplay standpoint I understand why they dropped it because I can’t imagine a way they would be able to implement it that isn’t just infuriating for the player. Supposedly every time you rewind time, you’d see Edelgard moving around the board, messing with things on her side? Yeah I would be ready to commit murder if that happened in my game. 

But story-wise, can you imagine? Edelgard with the ability to rewind time? How terrifying she would be? And how much more that drives home why the Crest of Flames is so powerful, why it’s not just significant that Edelgard has a second crest, but her second crest brings with it actual god-tier power? How that even further makes her a parallel to the protagonist?
