WIP hand-sewn project bag #3

I used a sashiko stencil this time--which made things soo much easier!

I added a little loop which will hold a keyring (for holding stitch markers) and a ribbon which will eventually get a swivel clasp (for holding scissors).

In hindsight, the pocket is placed a little too high for a crochet hook, but that’s ok.

Sewing WIP: project bag # 3.

I’ve finished the sashiko stitching. Next up is attaching a tag (the clips are holding it in place), sewing the gussets, and finishing with drawstrings.

I’m very pleased with how this is shaping up!

On one face, I stitched the shippo tsunagi sashiko pattern. On the other, I stitched the ishidatami sashiko pattern at 45 degrees.
