Wait, so if someone uses the Japanese name of a character (i.e. Kotone) does it count as a double for the English name (i.e. Lyra)? The whole "using the Japanese name" thing confuses me so that's why I'm asking...

It still counts as a double!

a password? how does that work?

It's a select word/phrase that is hidden in the rules page to make sure someone read the rules by turning in the password. if they don't turn in the password, they did not read well enough. It shouldn't be a problem for already-joined members.

“Log 114-1: Initial Contact in a Mysterious World. Due to a weak signal, I am unable to communicate with the Commander directly. I will be recording these audio logs instead.

Upon being sent to investigate a strange anomaly detected in space, I have discovered new territory. It is remarkably similar to Earth but from my observations, there are a few key differences.

One of which, perhaps one of the most notable of them all, appears to be entirely new species of creatures that thrive in the wild and co-exist with the humans of this land. Their relationships range from simple household pets to battle companions. As I do not wish to engage with the humans or the creatures, I have been keeping my distance. 

This planet does not appear to pose a threat to the Commander. They have no established extraterrestrial military but could most certainly have combat prowess due to their mutual relationships with these powerful creatures.”  

The alien then ended his recording by pressing a button upon his holographic display in front of his visor, saving it within his databases. This would be the first of many logs, as Zirkfied wished to return to his commander with a more detailed and complete analysis of this new land.

To avoid direct contact with the sentient creatures, Zirkfied kept out of sight, trying to use the terrain of the mountains to his advantage and hid behind several rocks near the base of one. Though he had several near-encounters with some here and there, the alien managed to remain relatively safe. While he hoped that he would not need to resort to violence, as the last thing he wished to do was to instigate unnecessary conflict, he would have no qualms if it meant protecting himself.
