personally, the way they describe the new regs (more battery managing, more strategy around when to recharge vs when to deploy) sounds much more fun to me than just going vroom vroom as fast as possible.
but like, obviously i'm NOT a racing driver, and most of them probably picked that career because they DID enjoy going vroom vroom as fast as possible. it makes sense that max specifically, the vroom vroom guy, is disappointed, and it also makes sense that different drivers will enjoy it differently. i hope they all manage to find the fun in it in the end 🤍
