The famous pink plum blossoms, already butddng in Kitano Tenman-gū (北野天満宮), in Kyoto.
A few days ago, I was at Kitano Tenman-gū (北野天満宮) in Kyoto. I was surprised to see some plum blossoms already blooming. Although its still very cold here in Kyoto, there is light at the end of the tunnel, SPRING!

Plum blossoms at Kitano Tenman-gū (北野天満宮) in Kyoto! It was slightly snowing and damm cold.
This is Kitano Tenman-gū (北野天満宮) on March the 7th of 2013. White and pink plum blossoms, Sugawara no Michizane’s (菅原道真) favorite flower.
