P-Papa? *Baliey sniffles as she opens the door to her dorm room and jumps into Bruce's arms.* I-I'm s-sorry! I-I w-was b-bad! s-So b-bad! I-I'm s-sorry!
Bruce caught her though he himself was absolutely staggered by her reaction to him, "Baby, what am I supposed to be forgiving you for? You didn't do anything."

Bailey had been quietly watching tv with him, snuggled up to his side. When he felt her breathing slow against him, he smiled and looked down to his sleeping daughter. He kissed her head and very carefully picked her up. He carried her to her room and gently tucked her into bed. He smoothed her hair and then walked to the door. He shut the light and closed the door, leaving a crack open behind him, so it wasn't so dark.

I've had my hands full trying to make home a place that'll be decent to come back to, but that doesn't mean I haven't missed you every day. Bruce was nervewrecked on the drive up, but he managed to keep himself under control. He hadn't told Bailey a time he'd be there, so he took his time. He'd called Hank ahead. He'd let the school know he was coming. He'd texted her when he was close.
And, now, he was parking.
He took a couple of deep breaths before walking into the school. He hadn't seen her room last time he was here, except for a quick walk-by. They hadn't thought she'd be using it... But circumstances had gotten out of control. Home hadn't been safe. Now.. Well, it was safe enough.
He swallowed hard as he knocked on her door.
*Then Bailey decides that she is gonna try to call him. Just to hear his voice for a little while. She sniffles and attempts to clean her face of the tears as she presses the call button.*
The phone rang and Bruce swallowed hard. He let it ring. He didn't know what he'd say to her now.
*Bailey curls up on her bed as the sobs wracked her slender frame. She missed her father so bad that it hurt her inside and she wanted it to go away.* [Text to Papa:] But I wanna see you Papa! I can't sleep. I need you Papa.
He stared at the text, unsure what to do.[text; Bailey]: you'll be home soon
