please go watch bait (2026) it's really good. if you don't care for mild spoilers it's basically riz ahmed auditioning james bond, flubs his audition but gets called back for a second audition bc of the social media storm surrounding the rumours of him being in the running, breaks up+reconnects w his best friend (guz khan), reconnects+breaks up w his ex-girlfriend (ritu arya), kills his entire family via shooting them in the head in order to creatively unblock himself, starts talking to a severed pig's head (voiced by patrick stewart btw), gets hit by a car, monologues to said pig head in public, and basically crashes out completely over the course of four days
also it's like 6 half-hour episodes and really funny!!

omg bait (2026) is sooooo diverse and woke, you should all watch it to be an ally to the south asian community! it's got cute tropes and #representation like going to the airport and reporting your cousin is a terrorist, a dad who has a heart attack every other day, addressing someone who's your own damn age as 'uncle,' trotting out your traumatic racist experiences to get coolness points, ruining your brother's business prospects, exposing your sister's secret relationship, having psychotic breaks, and slapping your kid at a party in front of everyone you know.
