He purposely drugs you in order to keep you sick. It’s never too much and never life threatening nor will it have future consequences. He knows it’s wrong and he knows he’s greedy, but he will be damned should he let you go.
He takes care of you with such love, it would leave the Tsaritsa weeping. When he has build a strong enough relationship with you, he will propose to you.
Give me a character and I will give them a random headcanon.
What would be the relationship with the children of Genshin men? (*´ω`*)

WRIOTHESLEY, is a pillar of stability and calm in the turmoils and chaos of life—not just to his spouse but to his children also. Despite his duty often calling him to the deep and lonely sea and being (in some manner) bound to it, he always made a concerted effort to be present in the important moments of their lives. His work, much being tremendous, had taught him to be patient and understanding at all times—children can be quite a lot to deal with, despite how adorable they can be. Even though the concept of punishment whenever a wrongdoing has been done is there embedded in his mind, he never applies it to his own kids, opting to guide and teach them instead on what they shouldn’t and should do and why.
Wriothesley navigates the rough and intricate currents of fatherhood with precision and dedication, only wishing to be one that he wanted to have. It’s safe to say that despite his strictness from time to time (done only for their safety), he will be loved a lot by his own children.
ALHAITHAM, a stalwart, leading light. He would share his love of reading for them, most often in the form of reading bedtime stories in which he sometimes discovers that he had fallen asleep shortly after his kid(s) did when he wakes up in the morning by their side. He is not particularly strict nor is he lenient towards them, he’s a perfect balance of the two. He’s not the type to preach what is right and wrong but he will become their pillar for guidance on what they should and shouldn’t do. There was never an occasion wherein he had to scold or reprimand them even if they had done something small but would still make an average person angry. In lieu, he would ask them the reason behind their actions, never forcing the answer out of them, tell them a few words to show his understanding, and ask them to never do it again.
Alhaitham likes the mundane and peaceful life that he has, despite the chaos here and there brought by his children, but he likes it, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
KAMISATO AYATO, while being duty bound as the head of the Kamisato Clan and the Yashiro Commissioner, he never ceases to be there for his family, especially his children. Whenever he’s off the burden of his responsibilities and has some time, he spends it on his family, doting on both of his spouse and children and making up for the lost moments. He cares for his children, tends to them, and looks after them at all times—whether it be him himself doing so or others, particularly in the shadows. If he cannot be there (in a literal way), then someone has to be, that’s just one way to ensure their safety and to prevent something happening to them (knowing the dangers around them). He has quite a lot of enemies, after all, who wouldn’t say that one wouldn’t target his own flesh and blood?
Due to that, the Yashiro Commissioner would come off as a worrywart towards his children, becoming protective and everything; Ayato only wants the best for them and the best is for them to be able to live their life freely and safely.
NEUVILLETTE, the Iudex of Fontaine is not one to be bad with children, in fact, he’s quite great with them. Perhaps it is because of his experience with the Melusines that he is able to have a good and understanding relationship with his children. He’s gentle towards them, patient, protective, and supportive in every way. He is a father that is devoted towards his children, a guiding presence and someone that they can depend on always. And although he is not particularly expressive, he’s not emotionless either. He is able to express his affection and care towards them without problems, whether it be through words or actions, buying them gifts and items that he thinks they will love and offering words of encouragement and support are just a few of the many ways.
Neuvillette often finds himself, while watching them, wishing that they would stay that way forever, as a child with no burdens of the world on their shoulders, and when he realizes that they are growing up (as anyone is bound to be), the rain will suddenly come and fall in Fontaine, lasting for hours.
ZHONGLI, is someone that his children would look up to and admire; there was once an occasion wherein his child tried to act like him, copying his words and dressing up similar to his style, which he found adorable that he entertains the idea of a mini-clone of him. He's wise and knowledgeable, always having something to say in terms of bedtime stories or simply just in conversations; his children become excited a lot when he sits on the side of their bed and begins to tell them stories of his own. He takes them out occasionally, even if it is just a walk around the harbor to look at shops or past time—oftentimes ending the day with watching the sunset before they go home. In addition, on festivals, he’s there participating in the event with his children and never taking his eyes off them.
In line with all that is said, Zhongli is the type to treat a pinky promise as some sort of unbreakable contract (the moment his child would hook their finger on his while saying the promise, it’s become a commitment for him in which he must accomplish).
TARTAGLIA, having been taking care of his siblings and looking after them, it’s evident that he won’t have a hard time dealing with children, especially when it’s one of his own. he just knows what to do in every moment with them—when they’re misbehaving, running around, crying, and everything. He’s very much loving towards his family, shown in the way that he always try to stay in touch with them by sending them letters whenever he’s away (sometimes with a gift) and occasionally surprising them. Tartaglia is very protective over his own children. I mean, no parent would want to see their own child being put in harm’s way or in dangerous situations so he does everything that he can to keep them safe, even if it means lying to them constantly—like how he avoids answering whenever he is asked about his work or make something up—and having the danger be put on his way instead.
Afraid that his obligations as a harbinger and loyal follower of the Tsaritsa would hinder his responsibilities as a father, Tartaglia tries to balance his time and doesn’t prioritize one over another.
KAVEH, quite a doting father, one could say that he’s overprotective towards his children with the fact that he’s all so vigilant and a little bit strict. Albeit he nags them often, but not in a harsh, shouting, throwing glasses and plates, violently screaming way of scolding or nagging but in a crouching on the floor so that they’re on the same level and speaking softly and slowly, never saying anything mean type (it’s not in his note to be rough and cruel towards anyone, especially to his own children). When they begin to cry, however, he would panic—and not just panic but panic panic. Suddenly, he’s blabbering apologies, wiping their tears, hugging them, and assuring them that everything’s okay and he’s not mad at them.
Kaveh provides them with everything that they want and need, would be supportive towards their dreams, does what he can to always be present in their life, everything. And all be it, as long as they come home, he’s perfectly content. He’s quite a selfless person and loving father, only wishing for his children to grow up in a warm home.
DILUC RAGNVINDR, (he has very girl dad energy; he would love it when he has a daughter) he’s the definition of a gentle father, the very embodiment of that word. He never fails to deal with the predicament that he’s having which involves his kids. He’s the type to play house with them, accepting his role as a bodyguard or sometimes, taking on the part as the pet; the type to sit on the floor and play tea party with them, drinking from a plastic cup that has nothing, and say that the tea tastes delicious. He would rather be the one to play such things with them than have others or no one do so even if it will make him look foolish. He spoils them a lot and I mean by a lot. He buys them a lot of things, mainly things that they show interest in or mentioned once that they would like to have—he’s the wealthiest gentleman in Mondstadt, money was never a problem for him. Albeit, the gifts were never enough to express his love for them and it never will be.
Diluc, the man that he is, would give them so much more even if it's himself that they must take.
KAEYA ALBERICH, isn’t exactly too strict towards his children. He lets them do what they want but in a way that they don’t feel like they’re being neglected or he doesn’t care about them. It’s just that he doesn’t wish for them to grow up on regrets and looking back on the memories that they could have had or done. If it makes them happy, then so be it (as long as it’s nothing dangerous or harmful). He occasionally takes his family out whenever he’s not being held by the throat by his responsibilities, taking them to many places away from the city—it could just be for a picnic, for stargazing, for anything just so that he can spend his time with his loved ones.
Kaeya would teach them a lot of things, ranging from small and sometimes foolish things such as how to beatbox to teaching them how to wield a sword if ever they show interest towards it, which would end up with him being seen as a mentor and teacher towards them. Leave it to him to teach them how to cartwheel, however, and he will have them learn and perfected it.
BAIZHU, is an extremely patient and caring father towards his children. Despite often being busy treating patients and having consultations, as well as his research, he still manages to find time to spend with them and finds ways to involve them in his day-to-day activities or tasks in the pharmacy. He brings them along with him to the pharmacy whenever he works but he doesn’t ask them to do anything. His child (or children) could just sit there as they watch him, play around, and take a nap—whenever this happens, however, he brings them to the back room where the bed is and lets them peacefully sleep there.
On one of those days wherein Baizhu could only do nothing but stay in and rest, his children are there to accompany him. Despite how much he insists that they can leave him on his own and they can play outside instead, they wouldn’t listen, preferring to help the herbalist and Qiqi bring him hot water and fruits to aid his recovery. And with them by his side, serene dreams come to his sleep and he feels a little bit better about everything.
Ishsksbd love this idea hehe, thank you for requesting it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did~

CW: NSFW! MDNI!! Fem! Reader! Making out, slightly public s*x in Neuvillettes, nipple sucking/playing, tit massages, and tit fucking!!
Names used on the reader: My dear, Darling, My love, Love
A/n: Why do I literally simp when characters use the nickname love...like help, it's a problem!
(Includes: Zhongli, Baizhu, Neuvillette, and Wriothesley!)
𑁍༄Zhongli:
You sighed quietly in relief as you undid your bra, letting your breasts spring free after what seemed like the longest day in history. You were tired, your body felt sore and your chest was desperate for attention, to the point it almost ached to move.
Suddenly strong arms wrapped around you, lips trailing kisses along your shoulders as ungloved hands ran up your sides. It was like his touch was heaven, "May I? I've been eager for you all day my dear~" Zhongli leaned in, nipping at your ear as you gasped in response...how did he know thats exactly what you wanted? "Please~"
You moaned out loud as his hands engulfed your big tits, his fingers pinching at your sensitive nipples as he sucked delicate marks into your skin. You could feel yourself getting wet from this alone, gasps escaping your lips whenever he squeezed you harder, "A-ah! Zhongli, I n-needed this! O-oh please don't stop!"
"I won't~"
𑁍༄Baizhu:
"Baizhuu nhh!" You whispered loudly, in a trance as a gentle moan slowly escaped your lips, his tongue flicking over your sensitive bud and the pads of his fingers rolling the other between them, sometimes grabbing at your chest excitedly. His eyes were focused on your features, watching carefully as you got more unraveled with every movement he made on your soft mounds. He had no idea you enjoyed this so much, "Mmm darling~"
His tongue slid up your nipple, coating it with his warm salvia before he started to roughly suck on it, your legs snapping together as heat poured between them. "O-h archons!! Baizhu!" You tilted your head back, hands grabbing at his silky light green hair as he hummed in delight.
𑁍༄Neuvillette:
You pressed your big tits together, encasing Neuvillette between them as he groaned into his hand, hoping to quiet the noises you knew would only grow louder as you went on. Your breasts were already covered in precum, salvia dripping down your nipples as you moved slowly up his length, playing with your nips and silently wishing no one could hear your needy sounds.
"I- mnhgh! My love, s-slow down-"
Your eyes flicked up to meet Neuvillettes as he gripped the arms of his chair, you licked his tip in protest, moving your breasts faster. His cock turned red at the head, your soft delicate skin surrounding him to the point he could have been dizzy. "Neuvie~"
𑁍༄Wriothesley:
You gasped loudly as Wriothesleys tongue slid into your mouth, your thighs tight around his legs and his hands massaging your breasts in just the right way. You could feel him growing needy beneath you and you were in the same boat, your tits begging for attention as you pulled away just long enough he could rip your shirt over your head, tossing it away like it was meaningless.
His lips were back on yours in seconds, his large fingers pinching your nipples as you moaned loudly, grinding down on him with your cunt wet and your eyes watery. "W-wrio nhhg!" He groaned into the kiss, rolling your rosey bud in the pads of his fingers, "Such a goregous chest, mmm love~"
💚Summary: There's a melody humming within your bones. A tune Baizhu strums with his needles and drugs. The ballade sings of a love more deadly than any toxin.
💚Author's note: Requested by my darling @fangirl-katwithclaws hope you enjoy it, Love!!~ 💜
💚Warnings: drugging, intoxicants, narcotics, reader is dazed.
You wake up wrong. Half dead and half alive with none of the glory.
You feel broken, cleaved as if someone dissembled you and then tried to re-assemble you in a hurry. Erroneously forging pieces that do not fit. There's a thumping in your head and in your right arm. A reminder of a memory long since forgotten.
There's a squeaking noise, the door sliding heavily against the wooden floorboards. It's too loud. Actually, now that you think about it, everything feels too loud. The birds, the crickets, the mysterious tune that haunts the Liyue streets. Everything feels like lost notes ambushing your lagging encephalon.
You turn your head to the source of the noise, watch as the door opens ever so agonizingly slow. There's green and gold and a flash of white that enters the room. Him. The only thing that stands out in a sea of blurry colors too vivid to process. Him. The one who's always at the forefront of your brain no matter how sluggish you feel.
Baizhu sits on the edge of your shared bed, his easy smile ever present on his pale face. He leaves the tray of food on your lap and raises both hands to cup your cheeks, pressing a soft kiss on your cracked lips.
There's something wrong with the way Baizhu tastes. His kisses are bitter. All molten violetgrass and qingxin flowers. It's like the toxins from his soul are seeping into you, it takes unprecedented self-control you didn't know you possessed to remain still within his grasp. He mutters something against your lips, something lighthearted and sweet. Like the first fresh breeze of spring. Only it's fall now or is it winter? Everything is getting so hard to recall.
To all of Liyue, you are known as Baizhu's sick bride. The one with limbs stiffer than her stepdaughter's and a foggy memory to boot. In actuality, you do not know how you gained such a title. Your memories tend to be nothing more than faint echos and ebony slates of confusion. You can't even properly recall how you met Baizhu, let alone how you married him. All you remember is a phrase, the first I love you Baizhu said. Albit with diffrent words and a much diffrent phrasing.
"My what lovely veins you have."
If thoughts would be permitted to linger in your mind for longer than mere seconds, then maybe, just maybe that phrase would have seemed off to you. Something all so wrong about finding beauty under one's skin. But your thoughts are never consistent enough to draw such intricate conclusions. Instead, you nuzzle into Baizhu's touch, trying to ground yourself. Baizhu plucks something small of the breakfast tray and pops it into his mouth. He waits a heartbeat before kissing you again. Slipping something round into your mouth.
You can almost feel your pulse fade.
It's warm in Bubu pharmacy, too warm. You feel like your skin is melting off your bones. "it's too warm" you mumble, eyes unfocused staring at the front entrance of the pharmacy. Your mind is spinning, out of control like a crashing bird.
You lean back against your husband, resting your head on his shoulder.
Baizhu's hand finds its way to your head, entwining his fingers into your hair. You permit a heavy whine to escape your throat, a dry muffled noise that briefly catches the attention of some of the patrons. "Baizhu, please" you mutter, desperate to leave the lively room.
Sometimes you vaguely recall a time when the presence of others hadn't been so suffocating. When you'd laughed with the people of the harbor and basked in their sweet company. Only when you had met Baizhu had socializing become so taxing. An exhausting affair your sweet lover helped you avoid. At times, in rare bouts of clarity, it almost felt as if Baizhu had planned this. As if he held the blame for your metamorphosis into a hermit.
And if you were ever conscious enough to care it may have been a problem...
Qiqi runs in, leaving her basket of fresh herbs on a chair. She runs over to you, lifting her arms. You wrap your arms around her waist and try to pull her up. She's getting heavier you note, albeit you're sure you are, in fact, the one getting weaker.
"Qiqi, darling. Maybe it's best you take Mommy to her room. I'll join you shortly once Gui arrives."
Qiqi nods and reaches to hold your hand. Walking idly by you, hand in hand, as you escape the suffocating room.
You wonder if Qiqi appreciates your lethargy. Lolls in knowing there is another like her. Someone stiff and sick and with a mind too slow to process nothing more than idle commands.
There's mold festering inside her. A rigor mortis she can not beat. Her body betrays her at every step. Yet ultimately she is the true traitor, the one who didn't honor her body's dying wish. You wonder if Qiqi even fully comprehends what being a zombie entails. You wonder if you wholly understand it yourself.
Maybe you had died a long time ago too, maybe Baizhu had found a way to resurrect you. That would account for the constant stiffness and memory lapses. It made more sense than this malady he kept going on about. A haunting hollowness dances across the darker corners of your heart. It twirls and pirouettes to the tune of anticipation. Maybe this darkness has always been a wrathful death. Cheated from claiming you for the grave.
Your room is quiet, a contrast to the morning. The shadows slither across the walls as you wait patiently for Baizhu. You'd sent Qiqi off to her room. Hoping she'd busy herself with doctor dolls she so fancied. Your eyes trained on the door. Mind empty except for rouge thoughts of him. The way his warm hands feel so good against your burning skin. How gentle he is with you as if you'd been made from glass. You love him. You're sure you do.
Baizhu slips in quietly. Closing the door and shutting out the world.
He sits next to you on the bed. Hands ghosting over your body.
It feels like your skin doesn't fit correctly over your bones.
"You're so beautiful like this". There's a needle between his fingers, held with all the percussion in the world. Beads of vivid green drip from the tip, a sacrifice to perfection.
If Baizhu could he'd pluck the flesh off your limps just to catch a glimpse of your porcalin white bones. he'd open their shells and kiss the marrow resting within. You remember him detailing that in a loose breath once. How gorgeous you'd be unskinned. How he'd love to kiss every part of you hidden behind your delicate skin. It's something from the past, or something from the future, too hard to fully remember. He does tend to fanaticize out loud all too often.
Baizhu pulls you closer, taking kisses from your shoulder to the depression of your elbow. There he sucks, prepping the vein. Another dose gentily spills into you and he kisses your lips passionately.
Your eyes remain open. Taking him in, in his entirety.
You blame the archons, the green they used for his hair is much too vibrant. The acid-like tone has surely bled into his soul. Filling it with venoms. Venoms he can't help, in turn, leaking into his lover.
You're mind grows dimmer as Baizhue's kisses grow hotter. His voice a fading star as he breathes out your name.
"My sweet, sweet darling, out like a wilted rose I see."
summary: genshin boys in a modern highschool setting, and nothing screams highschool than sports teams! but of course, not everyone in highschool makes it to the big leagues...
a/n: ermm can u tell I know almost nothing about sports bc I mean I read and write fanfics about video game characters Im not the most athletic... sorry if this is ooc or inaccurate (about the sports or the characters)...
everything is wheel generated, I spun for a character, then a sport, then a skill, if u don't like it blame the wheel not me >:(
notes: not very formal and not very relationship based, just silly headcannons! also I didn't really beta read this sorry for mistakes... TT
as an adult, ZHONGLI is quiet and sophisticated, so when those close to him now realize how he used to be when he was younger, they are much more than shocked at Zhongli's past. An over-passionate and wild teenager, who expended all his newfound energy into tennis. His quick reflexes, the way his slender legs would run to reach the ball, the quick swing of his racket sending the ball out of his opponents reach. an excited and wild boy who would sulk off the court, disappointment in his eyes and sweat dripping from his uniform, whenever (or if ever) he got an out
highschool student BAIZHU would keep to himself for the most part, just doing his work and trying to make it to graduation. the only thing that got close to a club or an extracurricular was the time he spent tending to the small strips of land that surrounded the school and him helping the nurse during his free periods. His teacher, concerned about his solitude, would set up a meeting with baizhu and his guardian, advising that he perhaps join some actual clubs so he can become closer to his peers. Of course, in the middle of the year not many clubs are open and accepting members, except for the sports clubs. He just took the first flyer off the bulletin and walked off toward the gym. Just his luck that it happened to be basketball, and just his luck that they were desperate for new members that they just accepted him right away. but not only is baizhu a recluse but he's also pretty unathletic, often spending his time during games off the court and out of breath, missing all his shots and crouching away from the balls thrown his way. Safe to say he got swiftly kicked off the team the second a new replacement came.
after KAEYA'S adopted father died and he was practically shunned by his older brother, Kaeya found his highschool life to seem bleak and empty, everything seemed so alien to him, until he discovered his schools indoor swimming pool and fell in love. He loved the way the sunlight reflected off the blue tiles, the gentle ripples of the water, the thrill of the surface tension, the silent hum of the filters, the chill as he dived into the water, the world seemed to stand still as his head went below the water and all his troubles drowned below the surface. He didn't even care about the medals hanging off his walls or the trophies decorating his shelves, he just loved the feeling of the water as it enveloped him in its cool embrace.
his father was a baseball prodigy, so of course AYATO has to keep up the family name, the cheers from the crowd fill his ears as he feels the dirt beneath him and his tough grip on his bat, his eyes are set on the pitcher and with quick reflexes he hits the ball perfectly across the field before he dashes around the bases, the feeling the wind against his face as his feet help carry him to victory. Girls from the crowd admire him, his close-to-graceful way of rising to his feet from the ground as he dust off his knees and heads to the dugout, the way he takes off his helmet after a game, wiping the sweat from his forehead and shaking his hair back into its original shape, his frustrated walk and calculative look as he walks back to the dugout after he strikes out.
all the girls at school could agree that ALBEDO was the only one looked stunning in his lab coat and goggles that swept back his blonde hair, and they thought he looked even better in a loose soccer uniform that showed off everything hidden behind the coat. Today was sports day, and the boys in albedos class were assigned to be part of the boys soccer team. Now, for a kid who spent all his time in the chemistry lab, albedo didn't consider himself to be completely un-athletic, but he, like many other members of his science club, definitely wasn't stupid enough to go on a sports field and put himself up against a bunch of jocks and such. Being forced into this public humiliation for a grade meant that the whole school would have to watch on as albedo failed in both offence and defense. whether it was letting the ball slide underneath his feet or diving head first into the grass while trying to block the goals, it was as if he had two left feet. His blonde hair was left disheveled and sweat broke through his forehead as he found himself bent over and out of breath once he was out of the field. He quickly decided that next time, he would just stay home.
chengsheng picks favorties, and she's not secretive about it. she's also not secretive about the fact that when you're around, it isn't baizhu either.
living in liyue for as long as you have should've meant your body was used to traversing the constant air influxes of going up and down mountains and large rock formations by now. however, contrary to what you believe to be the case, your body simply did not listen. really, it didn't listen to anything you want it to do.
it was always something. lightheadedness, severe headaches, congestion that made your eyes ache, stiff and swollen joints and muscles, small scrapes and bruises from whatever tumble you may have taken. anything that could happen always seemed to be the case with you when you walked through the door to bubu pharmacy.
it took no time at all for herbalist gui to learn your face and name. even qiqi could remember your face with her poor memory. with your regular visits, gui first suspected you were faking your aliments. of course, you could easily see how he could come to such an accusation. even you thought once or twice that you were just overthinking things, that it wasn't bad... until it was, and your conditions worsen with no kind of treatment at all.
the first time you met baizhu, you were standing rather unamused- and slightly zoned out- from yet another lecture from gui on how you need to be more careful or else you'll make the pharmacy run out of stock. he should be glad that business is practically booming with you around. instead, he was laying it on thick today... not that you were paying much attention.
"ah, so this is who the mysterious person qiqi claims needs herbs so frequently is."
you don't think you'll ever be able to forget how amused he sounded from behind you. or the look on gui's face as his boss interrupts his rambling that definitely could look like berating to anyone who wasn't used to seeing him interact with your near-daily medicine runs. you should've had a kamera on hand for such an expression.
you'll never forget exactly how awed you were to see the owner of such a renowned pharmacy for the first time either. a part of you was almost skeptical of how young he was, but then again age never equated to intelligence anyway, so that thoughtless nonsense was easily tossed out of your mind.
"yes, i guess that would be me," you sheepishly told him. "my apologies for the... neediness? for lack of better words."
"not at all. what is medicine good for if not to treat someone? it's actually quite relieving to finally put a face with a name."
"qiqi sspeakss of them sso often i almosst asssumed they were another one of her missunderstandingss." the secondary voice that no doubt came from the white snake around the doctor's neck shocked you for a moment. blinking as if taking in the absurdity of it, you easily accepted that the snake could talk.
this was teyvat where people could be born hybrids, having psychical traits of of species of being. not to mention liyue, where you knew of at least two adeptus running around the harbor. this shouldn't come as much of a shock.
"sorry about that too," the silent- i think?- you refused to tack on to the end of your sentence was left unspoken but clearly seen in your eyes. was that something to apologize for? in truth, the whole situation felt quite awkward so all you could do was talk to fill the silence. the silence that wasn't very silent anyway.
you had since stepped off to the side so gui could talk to another patron coming to pick up their prescription with the babble of the city just outside. if you didn't feel it would be rude, you would've just left and called it a day- even if you hadn't actually gotten your needed medicine from the herbalist at the desk yet. he had been too busy nagging you to hand it over before baizhu's sudden appearance.
luckily for you, baizhu was also intelligent enough he could read a room.
"please wait here. i'll go and fetch whatever medicine you need today." you make a small noise of acknowledgment before offering a small okay as he walks behind the counter and takes a paper from gui that probably had recommended herbs and salves scribbled on it for your treatment.
feeling like you just fumbled the first interaction with the pharmacy's owner, you sighed and pushed a finger to your temples before going outside. leaning yourself on the railing just outside the building, you bore yourself into counting the steps leading up to it. always getting a different answer each time since there were so many. you were so invested in your stair counting that when baizhu reappears in your peripherals with a small drawstring pouch of presumed herbs, you feel yourself flinch.
"i didn't mean to startle you," he chuckles as you gently take the pouch from him, using your other hand to dig around for the mora you know you now owe.
"it's fine. i was too engrossed in counting."
"counting?"
"the stairs."
"did you come to a final count?" he entertains.
"not even close," you say as you place the correct amount of shiny mora into his palm while watching chengsheng readjust herself by slithering once around his shoulders.
after that day, baizhu was around more often when you would stop by. your semi-normal medical pick-ups soon extend into medical treatment personally offered by baizhu in the pharmacy's back room, along with prolonged conversations to fill the free time he could offer. it was during these conversations that chengsheng decided that among the humans living in liyue, you were her favorite.
she preferred you over others so much that when you would come by the pharmacy, she would immediately demand to coil around you instead of her normal seat upon baizhu's shoulders. she would only keep to baizhu when you were around if his chi levels were running wild and she was confined to her job of maintaining them.
today was no exception to her favoritism.
you had once again shown up to bubu pharmacy, but this time not for whatever ails you, but for your annual checkup. you never used to bother with them, but shockingly enough gui had lectured you one year about it- so, to save yourself the ear strain it would be best to just get it over with.
walking up the outrageously long stairs to the pharmacy entrance, you sigh and rub your neck with a rather lackluster greeting to the open space of the front desk.
"okay gui, i'm here." you almost sigh, like keeping track with your health was such an inconvenience. dropping your arm and raising your view, you see all three of the bubu population together- which was almost rare considering they all have their own agendas to deal with near daily. "wow," you start with a smile at seeing them all, "it's like a party in here."
gui shakes his head at your lame attempt at what he assumes is a joke while qiqi abandons her post to waltz up to your side and grab the fabric that hung around your waist; a habit she's developed since you've been around more often. you're not sure why she does it, maybe it makes her feel secure or something, you weren't sure. you don't mind it regardless. you always accept her small act of presumed affection with your palm resting on her talisman tagged hat and small greeting.
baizhu blithely crosses his arms over his chest at seeing how attached qiqi has become of you. he has the hunch that even outside of the pharmacy you were pretty well-known because you were someone easily likeable, but to capture the attention of his little qiqi? color him impressed. still, he was pleased you had formed a connection with her and gui. even baizhu himself found himself enjoying your company more than he did before. each time was better than the last.
"it's lovely to see you again," the owner speaks as he uncrosses his arms into a more relaxed manner of stance. "gui informed me that you can be rather stubborn when it comes to these kinds of matters. I was worried i'd have to go and find you myself."
"i don't think you would have to go that far. even if i didn't show up today, i would've been back eventually. then you could've tied me up and thrown me into a forced state of compliance."
"that wouldn't be very hospitable of a doctor, i'm afraid."
a small tug on your hip directs your attention downwards as qiqi looks up at you.
"doctor baizhu will be taking care of you today," she says slowly, almost lethargically. you blink a few times in confusion for a moment before nodding to her.
"really now? what an a honor." it wasn't often baizhu did things like this, such common checkups were handled mostly by gui. you wonder if chengsheng kicked up some sort of fuss about it? 'nevermind,' you shake your head and internalize your thoughts, 'it doesn't matter.'
"best not to waste much more time," baizhu says, rounding the counter and coming up to your side before replacing your hand with his own on qiqi's head. "run along now, qiqi." she's quick to obey and gui returns to whatever it is he does all day long. you're ushered out and soon back to the room you've been in thousands of times before.
just like normal, you sat yourself down in one of the two stools baizhu keeps at his desk. just like normal, baizhu offers you tea for your time and just like normal you accept. just like normal, he walks back and forth along the many shelves of herbs and equipment for what he needs for the day's work. and just like normal, chengsheng is slithering down baizhu's outstretched arm, onto the desk and then quickly up yours as you offer it to her.
"aw, i've missed you too chengsheng," you coo. she always hisses when you treat her like a common snake, but it wasn't like she was going to do anything about it. another perk of being the favorite.
"it'ss just nicce to not be coiled around a man who smellss like grasss all the time," she plays off as she coils comfortably around your shoulders and even curling up your head to pass through your hair. most definitely forming knots in her wake.
as baizhu comes back to your side, you watch as he places his required items down.
"it never gets easier," you say.
"and what exactly are you talking about?"
"how... empty you look without chengsheng."
baizhu chuckles.
"yes, well, it feels as empty as it looks." he looks at the pearl white snake around you, clearly nuzzling into you more than him, and he smiles warmly at it. "she looks much better wrapped around you, than me."
"uh-huh," you scoff, bringing your palm up to cup her head and lightly nudging her away from your ear. she was making your skin tingle with her scales against the small sensitive limb. "i totally believe you."
"i've never spoken a word of a lie to you."
you always applaud yourself for not absolutely losing your cool for the things that could come out of baizhu's mouth. the way he can easily say things that were well past embarrassing without so much as blinking was almost awe-inspiring. if you didn't know any better, you'd think sometimes he was flirting with you- but it was baizhu and he was always kind and polite to anyone. that was just who he was.
your checkup runs smoothly and even though nothing can fix your accident-prone lifestyle, you were still healthy and ready to take on more scraps and falls.
now, the hardest part of every pharmacy visit was about to commence. convincing chengsheng to return to her contractor without much fuss.
"chengsheng," you nervously say her name with a slight shake in your voice. she was always a sassy snake, but when she didn't get to indulge in what she wanted, which was simply snuggly laying around your shoulders for just a while longer... she could be a handful. "you know you can't leave with me."
she meets you nowhere with silence- not even attempting to meet you halfway somewhere. nope, she's leaving you high and dry. baizhu watches with half amused eyes, a hand on his hip and the other reached out to brush against her scales.
"what if i walked our dear y/n home? would you willingly part with them then?"
"what?" baizhu had never walked you home before, you always insisted he not since he was a busy man, and it wasn't like you couldn't take care of yourself. this opportunity easily hooked the snake's attention as she lifted her previously curled head and looked at her contractor- you know, the man she was supposed to be unwaveringly loyal to.
"do we have a deal?" he chided, knowing that eventually she was going to let you go one way or the other. whether it be now by him prying her off you physically or walking you home and having her come back willingly. her forked tongue flicked out before coiling one full rotation around your neck and up your head, so her reptilian 'chin' sat on your crown.
"if i must," which was chengsheng for 'yes, we do'.
so, with you and chengsheng waiting at the top of the stone stairs, baizhu popped inside to inform gui and qiqi he would be stepping out for a bit. qiqi had peaked around the open front and waved goodbye to you, which you returned happily before baizhu came to your side. his hand came to hover at your back, so close you could almost feel his palm but never actually touching, and offered you start taking steps ahead of him.
back from inside the pharmcy at the desk, qiqi walked back to gui's side as they both watched their boss walk off with you.
"qiqi likes when y/n is around," she speaks monotonously- but she meant it.
"yeah," gui agrees, watching both your heads disappear further down the stairs with chengsheng still clinging to you. "you aren't the only one," he chuckles.
chengsheng picks favorties, and she's not secretive about it. her contractor, however- even if he thinks he's being slick about it- cannot hide that he does too.
and wouldn't you believe it? all evidence always leads back to you.
Baizhu, lo and behold with all the patience of man kind put together, loves your antics. However there will be times that your whole “i want to commit a splendid double suicide” clashes with his ideology of living forever.
At first he found you he found you drifting down a river, fending off a primo geovishap, he managed to drag you out. He was expecting a “thank you for saving my life!!” Or even a “what happened??” Yknow the memory loss trope thing.
Only to be caught off guard and put face to face with your blunt annoyance. “Were you the one who disturbed my submersion?.”
When he began to question your methods, you ‘tsked at him with a bold remark, “I was trying to commit suicide? What else?”
What a day.
He found you an intriguing enigma down to the way you speak. Therefore, he took you under his care into bubu pharamacy. After a while, you found yourself attempting to serenade him into a double suicide. Which never worked, yet Baizhu found amusement within this routine.
It was cute
Your power to neutralize any ability was something he also studied. Were you able to get rid of the curse? He would try his best to find out.
Of course, he couldnt resist your charms for long. Thus, you ended up as a couple.
Baizhu was the doting type, a bit sly, but caring nonetheless.
It was always a battle of wits with you two. Yet, it was something that brought about closeness.
warnings: tighnari is a little shit, and baizhu is..something
a/n: i had this idea while thinking about reading bj alex
you heard the door close, and cyno’s voice call out for you. you paid no mind to it, continuing to press the next button on the website you were reading a manwha on, assuming everything would be fine, considering the last few pages have been sweet and romantic.
though, you were surprised to find that the next page was anything but sweet and romantic. one of the characters kissed the other, and the more you scrolled, the worse it got.
and with the worst timing ever, cyno barged into your room. “hey, didn’t you hear me call you?” he asked, confused.
quickly, you put your phone down and stood in front of it. “no..i was listening to music a while ago.”
a dumb lie, really. where were the headphones if you were listening to music?
he froze, confused. he could tell you were flustered, but about what? he hadn’t even done anything yet. not that he planned to.
“what’s up with you..?” he asked, confused, and somewhat hurt you lied to obviously.
“nothing! why would something be wrong?” you asked casually. though, you got tense as he got closer to you.
“y/n, is there something you’re hiding from me?” he asked. you shook your head.
sighing, he quickly slid his hand behind you and took your phone, your screen facing you.
the scene was still there.
the two of you fought for the phone until he eventually took it from you, admiring whatever was there, though, his face quickly went into shock.
meanwhile, you were standing and gathering your balance. you looked at him as he looked at your phone.
sighing, you spoke. “that’s why you mind your business.”
he looked at you, blinking confused. “if you were horny, you could’ve just said that.” he said blatantly.
surprised, you snatched your phone and sighed. “shut up.”
“tighnari?” you asked, looking at your boyfriend on your computer. “what’re you doing?”
you were just now coming home, and as expected, he was back before you. however, what you didn’t expect, was him to be on your computer.
as you got closer, you realized he was reading the smut you’d left open earlier. you could’ve sworn you existed the tab though? “why’re you—“
“is this what you fantasize about?” he asked bluntly, turning in the swivel chair.
you stood there silently. your goal was to not give an answer, though, it was already clear.
standing, he took your hand, pulling you closer to him. “tell me, is it?”
you nodded, somewhat curious to see what’d happen. smirking, his hands began wondering your body as he kissed you.
moving the both of you from standing, to getting you to sit in the chair he was once. his fingers pulled at the waist band of your pants, pulling it down painfully slowly.
and all of a sudden, it was gone.
sighing, he stood above you as you fixed yourself in the chair. “you’re so needy, baby..”
you rolled your eyes, clearly flustered all because of that one moment.
“it’s adorable, really. how easily you can get riled up.” he teased, grabbing your cheeks. “so pretty, hm.”
you said a muffled ‘fuck you’, getting a laugh out of him. “i thought you wanted me to fuck you? reading such lewd things.”
sighing, you gave up on responding. not that you could, he wouldn’t take you seriously with how you looked, cheeks smushed together.
you were on your ipad, sitting on a couch across from where baizhu sat in his reading chair whilst qiqi was off somewhere in her room.
originally, your idea was to draw something simple. though, eventually, you got bored and decided to find inspiration from somewhere of what to draw.
and what better place to find inspiration from than your favorite smut? you gotta admit, sometimes, the positions are amazing, smut or not.
then you had to choose your canvas. who was going to be your victim? baizhu, of course. he was sitting in the most perfect position, similar to the one you chose. it was too good to be true. too good of an opportunity to miss.
quietly, you began consistently looking up from your ipad, admiring baizhu’s figure, then back down to look for a similar color or to base something off what he’s wearing.
eventually, you did get caught and it ended up with him looking up from his book to see you admiring his figure longer, or rather harsher, than you usually would.
“what’re you looking at?” baizhu asked, putting a bookmark in his book to match your gaze.
startled, you looked back down at your ipad as to make him think you were zoning out, or was just checking up to make sure he was still there.
the simple things you’d do out of habit.
however, it did nothing to help you, only making him more curious.
thinking he just simply gave up and continued to read his book, you looked up only to find that he was no longer there. feeling a breath against your ear, you turned frantically to catch eyes with baizhu. standing right behind you
“whatcha doin’?” he asked, as if he didn’t just see the drawing you were making.
“drawing..” you answered truthfully, but not fully in truth. how long he was there? there was no clue. for all you know, he could’ve only gotten a glimpse of the lewd picture you’d made.
“drawing what, hun?” he then asked once again. knowing he knew what you were drawing, and his eyes were not, in fact, deceiving him, you gave up on speaking.
silently, he sighed and came to sit beside you. “there somethin’ you been meaning to tell me, or am i gonna have to see it for myself? again?”
you didnt know whether or not to take that as a compliment or rather an insult. “whats that supposed to mean?”
“either tell me, or i’ll have to force it out of you.” he spoke in a straightforward manner, tone and gaze much different than his usual soft and loving expression.
sighing, you began to explain what you were doing, watching as he listened intently. everything from the smut, to describing it and why exactly its your favorite and your intentions through it all.
by the end of it, he was quite quiet. though, the silence broke not long after. “if you wanted to try something new, you could’ve said that.”
