Rant/Baka to Test to Shokanju Ni! Episode 3 Review
Dear god finally, dang Tumblr was denying me my right to babel like an idiot all day. First hiccup with the site, but at least its working now. Anyways onto the review of this grand idiocy that is Baka to Test.
... I'm not sure what I watched to be honest when I watched episode 3. Hopefully if you are reading this you've seen season 1, cause I am just going to steam roll ahead with character names and terms!
Hideyoshi's sister Yuko has been picked to sing an advertisement or some sort of song for the school due to her "natural talent for singing in this episode. Little problem, she can't sing for shit according to Hideyoshi. So being twins and knowing her brother can act and sing, she makes him dress as her for the day and she takes his place in Class F. Ensue chaos.
Hideyoshi apparently has no sense of delicacy so he ends up spilling a couple of his sisters secrets along the way, from her love of boy on boy novels to her love of girly boys. Yuko on the other hand... just witnesses how absurd Class F is on a daily basis, from Aki getting chased down by the FFF to Aki calling Hideyoshi(Yuko) less feminine than he(she) normally seems.
This episode ended up with two stories, a first for Baka to Test, so here's the second one in a nut shell.
Set a year before they are placed in their specific classes, it features everyone from the main series before being placed in Class F. It centers around Minami's little sister trying to get a plushie for Minami as a "don't be sad" gift.
Aki, being the classic anime reliable idiot, goes through extremes to get the money for the plush. Extremes being pissing off Ironman by getting him soaking wet and then selling off some of Ironman's belongings. (Stupidly using his school ID when he sold them). Ended with that feel good ending between Minami and her sister and the plusies. Though I doubt Aki feels good after Ironman got through with him.
On a side note, I've decided only to do screenshots for my No. 6 and Mayo Chiki! reviews since it would be a lot of work to set up all these animes in a screen and speak format. Maybe if I can think of an easy way to do it I will, maybe photosets.
