You and Toshinori have been together for many, many years, though you started dating late, and took you even more years to propose. Toshinori was grateful that you took care of him, after the injury, so when he recovered enough to walk around normally he wanted to do something for you.
And that something was, cookies. He never really cooked. You were the stay-at-home wife, he did make you coffee and breakfast for the day but after that, it was you, who cooked for him mostly or if you weren't in the mood, he'd take you out. But today he wanted to do something special for you. Baking. Cookies.
You two settled with chocolate cookies, the basic and you decided to help him, despite Toshinori insisting that he can bake using the recipe book that has been sitting on the counter for years. It was his first time baking and you wanted to be with him also because you knew how it was to use the recipe books the first time when you didn't know better.
"Toshinori, I know you can cook but you've never baked. At least let me help" You remarked, while he opened his recipe book. "But this is supposed to be your gift, beloved. " Toshinori replied, eyebrows forming a frown. You knew he wanted to do it by himself but his basic culinary skills could only help him so far. "Still, I want to help, this is your first time baking" You argued again. "Besides I'm better than any recipe book" You closed the book. Toshinori stared at you "I insist" He mumbled, gently prying your hands away from the book. You sighed.
"Alright, but I'll be here and I'll tell you the recipe so put the book back. I will not touch anything, I swear" You showed him your best puppy eyes. And he yielded. He sighed, closing his eyes and then smiled. "Whatever you say, my lady." Toshinoris hands found your waist, without breaking a sweat he lifted you up and sat you down on the kitchen counter.
And now you were here, sitting on the kitchen counter while Toshinori prepared the dough for the cookies. He would ask for instructions but he truly didn't let you help, you just there staring.
Your eyes couldn't help wandering off to the veins on his forearm, he indeed looked sexy. Well, to you he forever looked sexy no matter what he was doing, you definitely were enjoying the show.
You guided toshinori through the recipe, and even tried to slightly persuade him onto letting you help but he was stubborn not agreeing till the end. The cookies were almost done the last step was to put them on the oven, toshinori put the cookies on the oven setting the time and temperature. Now all left to do was wait.
30 minutes later, you two stood side by side, decorating the cookies with chocolate frosting, some colorful sprinkles. You were making faces in some cookies with choco chips, toshinori did the same but the faces weren't as good as yours. Some cookies had their nose crooked, and one didn't have an eye.
The table was a mess and in between sat the cookies, you were kind of proud of him. You giggled looking at the cookies. Toshinori offered you the one he decorated "here" He brought the chocolate cookies near your mouth and you took a bite. You patted his shoulder praising him.
"For first time, this is perfect. " You talked while nibbling onto the cookies.
"You know, when I did it. The kitchen was disaster and I burned the cookies" You casually spoke.
Toshinori raised his hand and lifted your chin up with his index finger. His face coming closer to yours, he licked the corner of your mouth. Your eyes widened and you just stood there for a solid minute, dazed.
"There was chocolate on your mouth" Toshinori said, his face a breath away to yours. You blinked hard, this was a pretty bold move for someone as shy as him. It had you momentarily stunned, he had never done something like this before. He was always a little shy whenever it came to intimacy.
You stared at him, he backed up a little, the tips of his ears were red. It was slowly crawling up his neck. You leaned towards him and pressed a kiss on the corner of his mouth, stayed still for a minute and backed up with a smooch sound.
"Now we're even" You grinned and looked at his face completely turning red as he stared at you.
You let out a chuckle and moved to clean the kitchen, toshinori did the same, storing the cookies somewhere else as he made coffee for the two of you.

I feel so terrible y'all, been feeling the writers block for weeks now and I feel so bad because I cannot write anything, I only was able to complete this because this was pre written and I wanted to complete it.
I don't like the feeling of not being able to write at all😭😭
I really do want to write but nothings coming to me, and even if I want to complete my draft it's like I'm just lost ><
Overlord had all but thrown himself against the berth, staring at the dozens of images of Tarn lining his walls, panels retracting almost instantly and recording devices on. He wondered if Tarn was watching his, smirk on his faceplates.
"Mhhh--fraaag- wanted to- take you then and there." He looked up, optics flitting between the images. The cute maid apron... torturing a mech... frag, that was a good one- Overlord was eternally grateful to whoever snapped that image, the poor Decepticon traitor begging Tarn for mercy it looked like...
Overlord wondered what it would be like to play out a role like that. Tarn probably wouldn't like it, but... Overlord was a kinky fragger. He let his helm roll back, one servo on his spike, the other on his valve, digits sinking in, as he imagined playing along such a scene.
Tarn would confront him... accuse him of- slagging off Megatron? What was it... fleeing? The other Overlord had gone awol. Oh... maybe he could convince Tarn to play with some cuffs and restraints at least!
Anyway- he'd be caught, threats of torture soon turning real. The others would maybe want a turn too... ohhhh frag this was good.
Overlord didn't need a whole lot of stimulation before he overloaded, fist frantically pumping his spike as it erupted on the berth, spattering over his abdomen. His back arched and he jammed three digits in to his clenching valve, groaning loud and long, struts shaking, before finally collapsing to the berth.
"Mhhh- ahhhh... Tarn... Tarn... come and take me." He murmured, turning over to bite in to a pillow and grab a thick false spike from subspace, magnetising it to the berth and sinking down on it with a spark deep moan of pleasure. He ground against it, teasing his node, pinching and twisting it roughly- the pain made everything so much better.
. . .
Several hours later and several overloads later, the triple changer was finally mostly satisfied, frame coated in a layer of condensation not to mention other fluids. He sprawled out on the berth, long since having forgotten about the recording devices.
It was a childish habit he'd never gotten rid of. The way he spoke to the familiar plushie now cuddled up against him. Doubts crept in to his processor and he wondered out loud.
"Do you think he really likes me? It's not just.... an act?" He gave the purple unicorn plush a squeeze, optics wide, lip plates twitching lightly and spark suddenly aching. He curled up slowly, leg struts tucking in close, stuffed toy clutched tightly and hugged close as he sought to comfort himself, eventually dozing off. He'd forgotten to turn the recording off, blissfully unawares of whether Tarn had been privy to that vulnerable moment.
Greetings from another successful telebakedate with Odile! This time, we were inspired by an Instagram story from Smitten Kitchen’s latest wedding cake project, but since her recipe didn’t go live until this morning, Odile suggested a similar recipe she’d saved on IG that shared flavors.
Though I prefer our other standby vanilla cake recipe, I absolutely loved the whipped salted caramel topping these use, and I’m excited to try it again soon. It’s especially handy in that it can stay chilled in the fridge until minutes before you need it, and then whips up quickly and pipes like a standard buttercream. I was curious to test its texture with a few different piping tips, hence the photo array above, but my favorite is and ever shall be the star.
Just because you don’t live in the same state as someone doesn’t mean you can’t still have bakedates! Thanks to the glories of video calls and AirPods, Odile and I successfully shared our kitchens Tuesday night to bake along to the same recipe. We picked something relatively simple since it was a weeknight after all, and time zones complicate things further, but it was just involved enough to keep us busy for a few hours together. It’s fascinating to me how different our finished products turned out to be, but as she put it, the decorations are perfect reflections of our personal styles.
Last year around Christmas, Laura and Graham gifted us a box of mince pies so we might finally attempt to understand the British holiday treat so commonly referenced on GBBO. It struck me, once I realized with the mythical mincemeat actually was, that I could make some come Christmas 2019 and give them some to freeze for a holiday when they weren’t making it back to England. Instead, we moved halfway across the country.
So when they decided to come visit us two weeks before Christmas, I knew it’d be a perfect Sunday afternoon activity: making tiny pies, doing a puzzle, and generally enjoying a lazy day. Graham avers these turned out just like his Nan’s, which I take as the highest praise, regardless of whether he meant it that way.
Note: When you Google “great british bake off mince pies,” you’ll find that each host has their own spin on the treat; I chose Prue’s recipe simply because it was the only one that broke down how to make the mincemeat from scratch rather than buying a jar.
What do you get when you combine two types of mousse (caramel/cinnamon and green apple), two types of joconde (one chocolate, one not, both with a calvados syrup soak), a layer of poached apples, vanilla caviar-flecked gel, and cinnamon-infused whipped cream? This high-yield entremet that essentially tastes like an elevated apple pie.
But the added challenge for this particular Cafe Monmichdile bakedate wasn’t any one particular technique, our eternal impatience with rest periods, or any of the usual hiccups with complicated projects. Instead, it’s that we were baking from a cookbook written exclusively in Japanese and French. The ingredients were in French, which the Mich and Dile contingents could tackle easily, but all of the instructions were in Japanese, and even Google Translate was struggling with those. (If you know what “tell input put the refrigerator cars” or “jobs apples are and sour choose what strongly pulpy substance is hard” mean in this context, please reach out.) Instead, we were relying on photos, some previous experience with similar techniques, English translations of similar elements on various blogs, and a generous helping of “here goes nothing.”
All of which is to say: I’m extremely proud that we were able to create this at all, let alone that it’s one of the tastiest we’ve done to date.
How you can tell Odile and I have gotten cocky about our bake dates: We planned to make opera cake (which is functionally an entry-level entremet) yesterday but didn’t get started until 4pm, and we squeezed in a few other improvisational mini entremet friends between steps using ingredients she had lying around in her fridge. Still got home by 11ish, and that included a long dog walk and a break for dinner. A lovely day with a lovely friend.
Coupla notes on the execution: We cheated the buttercream step, since she had leftover vegan espresso “buttercream” from a macaron batch, and we used smashed hazelnuts in lieu of the feuilletine. That bottom layer didn’t bond very well with the bottom layer of joconde (itself *quite* wet), so you’ll see it only in pieces under a few of my slices, mostly as a leveling agent. (I thought I’d like a crunchy layer for textural variance, but it turns out it was stronger without.) Also, you’ll notice a few differences between her photos and mine: Odile had white chocolate for doing her opera piping, but I used semisweet, and her layers cut a bit more smoothly than mine, thanks to differing times in the fridge. All in all, a success!
Hiya, today it is that time of the month for our regular monthly series of Bake Date with Lolli. For this months Bake Date I have a fabulously yummy yet easy Cheesecake recipe for you.
As you may have realised by now the purpose of these Bake Dates is to share with you tasty but easy to make recipes and this one perfectly fits the bill. I haven’t been making it that long – in fact this is only the fourth or fifth time. I try things with the original recipes and then play around a little with it til I get it simple and tasty just how I like it, and how I’m sure you will too. So here is my Bake Date Lemon Ginger Cheesecake video:-
So before we get to the photos of the finished cheesecake let me share with you the recipe:
1 1/2 pkt (approx 300gms) Ginger Nut Biscuits
150gm Butter
2 x 300ml Whipping Cream
280 – 360 gm Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 x Lemon Jelly
200ml Water
Castor Sugar
Lemon Concentrate or Fresh Lemons to taste
First we need to start off the jelly so it can start to set while we get on with other things. So break your jelly up into a jug and add approx 50ml of boiling water, and if necessary finalise the melt with 30secs in the microwave. Once melted add some Lemon Juice and Castor Sugar to taste. Stir in til Sugar melts then add 150ml of cold water and pop jug in fridge to start to set.
Now to make the biscuit base. Melt butter. Crush biscuits and mix together til butter completely coats the biscuit crumb. Add biscuit mix to you prepared tin and push down firmly and slightly up at the sides. Pop this into fridge to harden off.
Next whip up 300ml of the whipping cream. Pop into fridge until jelly is almost set.
Once the jelly is ready, add your cream cheese to a bowl and soften with a light whisk. Add the jelly and mix the too together thoroughly. Now add the whipped cream we did earlier, and mix in throughly. Now taste, and then add lemon juice and castor sugar to your taste. Remember this is your cheesecake and although it is not set this is the flavour of it so make sure you get it to your taste.
Once the mix is how you like it pour over your biscuit base and put into fridge for minumim of 4 hours and preferably overnight to set.
Whilst your kitchen equipment is out, whip up the other 300ml of whipping cream and set aside in fridge until the cheesecake is set.
Once cheesecake is set add whipped cream to top, and then remove from the tin onto flat dish.
Finally enjoy!
So that is the recipe for the cheesecake in summary if you just want a quick written reminder rather than watching the video in full again. But now here are the photos of my cheesecake which were taken when I first cut into it. It was set but still a little soft as you saw in the video. But I still think it looks yummy and it shows that even if it is not 100% ready it is still edible if you just cant wait, lol!
So that is it for this months Bake Date, I hope you have enjoyed and see you again next month for another one and of course plenty of crafty videos in the meantime, Big hugs and have a great craft day,
