When going through all those old recipes that somebody cut out of magazines and newspapers the other day, I came across this one that looked intriguing.
Unfortunately, it's so old that tape failed and the piece of paper that has the instructions fell off and got lost.
I've been trying to find this exact recipe, because I don't just want to find something that's similar and kind of guess. I want this actual recipe.
I found similar ones but they didn't have pecans and chocolate, or I found similar ones that you don't bake but you bake this one. Or I found similar ones that don't have water. What is the water for!?
Most of the recipes that were saved with this one are from things like Good Housekeeping magazine, or the London Free Press, (London Ontario, Canada).

I am really enjoying this whiskey. I love single barrel bourbons, and this one does not dissapoint. Typically higher-proof whiskies prove harsh and need a bit of water (or ice) to tame them. This is very nice neat. The initial nose preps you for a bland palate, but complex, rich flavors erupt from this copper nectar. Recommended.
