I managed to get an empty Tube carriage so sketched a little picture while I rode. I’m blaming every wobbly line on the rattly tracks and not my inability to draw a straight line.

Contrasts at West Hampstead. In 1978, a Metropolitan Line A stock train heads for Baker Street, overtaking a Bakerloo Line 1938 stock train bound for Elephant & Castle. In 2022, a Metropolitan Line S stock train heads for Baker Street, overtaking a Jubilee Line 1996 stock train bound for Stratford.
