Finally finished all the Brush Gods! I presented them in order you unlock them in the game because I'm a huge nerd. Even with losing some progress files I was happy with how these came out!

70th Hunt: One Last Dream

I keep forgetting how many majiks Ichi has now, and the fact that he can use them any time. Ichi's use of Bakjam (I love learning the majiks' names!) is interesting, and surprisingly merciful. I didn't expect this power to leave Puu's guard down while Ichi lands the decisive blow.

I also love that Ichi apologized to Gokuraku before using Bakjam. He knows how much pain Gokuraku has suffered from this majik. However, now that Ichi is their master, he can control how this ability is used, and he would never deliberately hurt a friend with this. I love Ichi and Gokuraku's bond so much 🥹❤️

Also, the way Ichi was waving his magic knife reminded me of an orchestra conductor! It's also cool how much control he has over all of his majiks now, especially Inazuri!

The designs in this manga are so fire overall tho!!!!!!!!! Yall saw how Fucking awesome Uroro looked while possessing Ichi yeah?!?!? And the the world hater majik! Both them and the designs of all their avilitys is so gud!!!!!!!!! The juxtaposition of the angelic theme with the white colours, witch I heard are actualy funeral colours in some cul, and the warped/rotting thing hits so hard. Oh and the Fucking bone dome?!?!? How cool is that?!?!? The mangaka is just goated at drawing decay - just look at the way this mushrooms were done! Oh and bakugami? That design EATS. The siluete. The contrast. THE EARS. Those fuckass glasses. The eye bags. Why dose the guy lazing arownd for 10y have eye bags. Did he exhaust himself gooning the world hater or smth?

I love how the designs are so well matched to the characters - no fans service where it dosn't fit the character and the author isn't shying away from making and intersting fantasy setting by only including some amalgamation of 'medical europe' - it allows so much more creativity in terms of character design!!!!

As a devoted freckles infusiast(is that how u spell it?) of freckles, the manga is a gift from God.
