i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again

got a big surge of motivation to draw even though im so exhausted and now its 2am but thats ok shida is worth it. spent a good 10 minutes deciding whether i wanted to draw shida or howl, but shida won <3

also also im pretty happy with how the coloring turned out on this!! i tried to go for more of my actual art style which is semi-realistic/realistic, instead of trying to do an anime-esque type of style and it worked! v v happy im starting to see improvements with my digital skills:)

this is how the bakuten gang would react if you revealed that you are actually mothman:

shichigahama: 100% does not believe you even after you transform in front of him. mothman doesn't exist so thats just not possible. its just a costume. obviously. jokingly calls you mothman any time he can just to be able to remind you that he doesn't believe. (((((secretly really does believe but he will never admit it)))))

onagawa: is willing to worship you like a god but is very relieved to learn that you don’t need to be worshipped you just need to be cryptic. very very supportive. will still hold a light in front of your face just for fun.

tsukidate: already knew tbh. he’s suspected it for a while but wasn’t sure how to ask you. has a lot of questions about your transformation and biology that you don’t know how to answer. he also wants to know if you can find him more plants with your powers. he wants a bigger moss garden and if you can help him build it he doesn't care what you are.

watari: is chill about it. says he’s seen weirder things but won’t say what. you suspect that he may be some kind of cryptid as well but he’s become more cryptic and secretive about it since you told him and its getting you nowhere. wHaT iS hE??

futaba: is slightly terrified of you. but mostly he just wants to know if you can take him flying. he wants to soar with you :) screams every time you transform in front of him and then profusely apologizes for screaming right after.
