What if cybertronians shed their paint in layers similar to how animals molt or shed? As a writer trying to take themselves seriously I hate this, but from a funky worldbuilding, make-cybertronians-as-alien-as-possible perspective I love it.

An ongoing joke I have with my partner is that Thad being the opposite of Bart didn't get his feet but instead he got massive yaoi hands. Just eldritch meaty claws. This is an advantage for him bc I hc he plays the piano. This is also an advantage for wringing Bart's neck.

Basically: Celestial Brush Gods are the direct descendants of Edda and Aven.
Like after the duo recreates the universe, a bit of their (And Worldless') power and energy remained, which formed into Shiranui, and then formed into the Celestial Brush Gods after Shiranui's death.
This is why they're so closely linked to the stars, and for their colour scheme; they're technically descended from Edda and Aven.
