Suspended Coffees || Steven & Brendan
It had been a tough month, but the worst of it was over. Money had been checked into his account, and Aurea had already obtained her paycheck and cashed that in as well. They were finally able to break free from the rigmarole of eating for dinner pasta that was tasteless and overall scored a resounding negative out of ten. He wasn't sure how Aurea had managed to eat lunch in school, but it wasn't his matter to be concerned about -- if he was incapable of looking after himself, he had no place to be worried about others.
Once money was in his pocket, life was good. Steven had decided to make good on his promise to the local coffee store of buying multiple suspended sandwiches and coffees, and he did just that. As soon as he had paid for his suspended orders, he grabbed a menu and returned to his usual seat on the patio of the café.
Steven browsed it idly, noting that there was nothing else that he had really tried outside the coffees and sandwiches there. Perhaps he ought to try something different, today.
