To celebrate my birthday, I figured I'd keep a food log for the first time in a long time to see if there has been any progress on the healthy eating front. Here's a peek into my birthday food journal:
Breakfast - Coffee, green Pur Pak water bottle, and coconut Bonk Breaker
60 min swim, followed by 1/2 coconut Bonk Breaker
60 min run workout with coach and friends
Birthday breakfast - 2 huge pancakes, 2 poached eggs, 1/5 of a cinnamon bun and lots of coffee
Lunch - Leftovers from someone else's birthday dinner 2 days ago. Chicken and white beans in some sort of yummy spicy mush sauce
Dessert A - Most of a large square piece of carrot cake from co-workers. I didn't share much of it.
Snack - The rest of the carrot cake
60 min strength workout followed by coaching for Club Run w/ Balanced Strength
Dinner - Seafood salad, yucca fries, plantains from Bossa Nova.
Dessert B - Huge strawberry cupcake, but it was from Whole Foods, so it's healthy.
Drinks - grapefruit juice with dinner, and a bomber of Vanilla Porter
How did I do? I think I may have regressed to my high school eating habits. How long can I keep this up before I become rotund?
