Ummmm 1) "slaps one thousand asses" is now in my regular rotation of day-to-day sayings, so a huge THANK YOU for that--we also think it slaps one thousand asses thanks to our amazing composer, Baldemar

The Ether Wars is going through actual, real life play-testing, and instead of working on it like I should be, I’m playing around with the guild numnums. Same universe, so I guess it counts?

I’m thinking… a backstory heavy fact for each of the big three.
★ Despite his modest upbringing, Baldemar was born into the Ter'Goaithe family, a pillar of Werme’s nobility. He returned to Redholt at the age of 17. The following year, both he and Adalgisa lost their titles after they sparked a civil rebellion. They left for Cleyn shortly after.
★ Adalgisa has been a devout follower of Cirr, the All-Mother, for most of her life. She distanced herself from her faith after the Fourth Concordat was established—a treaty which placed the Nave, sect of the All-Mother, at the heart of Werme’s ailing government.
★ Raul belongs to the longest-standing Masterhouse in Faercapel, his family having held a seat of power for the past four hundred years. As the only male heir to House Usra, Raul alone can ensure that the seat remains within his House when his father’s passes. After rejecting the seat on his twentieth birthday, he was sent from Faercapel by his father to “travel the world and reconsider his alliances”.
