For my gothic ball au, necromancy works a bit differently, it exists as strings in the air, that can be yanked on like puppet strings, strummed upon, or otherwise manipulated to control the dying things they’re connected to

I gotta say, reading Jane Eyre and then starting Pride and Prejudice is NOT GOOD for my constant au obsessing brain
The ball au? Yeah that one from HtN? What do you mean I have to focus on the au I’m already doing and can’t abandon it to write 40k words about Lady Harrow trying to seduce Prince Kiriona so that she might gain resources for her dying house? I have to sit here knowing Rochester said “your mind is my treasure, and if it were broken, it would be my treasure still” and NOT give that to Kiriona? No perfect Prince Kiriona falling desperately in love with the only moderately sane little nun? Jod, this is hard

I feel like Silque would be in the Too Cool To Be At The Ball Club.
silque would show up to the annual one kingdom anniversary ball and she would dance with her faves if they asked because she’s nice like that but the rest of the time she would rather sit with the rest of the deliverance members and catch up
Let me ship reylo and leave me alone ( all so it a princess/ ball au)
