Some non-fungal finds from Brazos Bend. Fun fact! : Ballmoss, like spanish moss, is not a true moss but is in fact a type of flowering plant called an epiphyte which grows on the surface of another plant without being parasitic. Epiphytes are commonly called "air plants" because they are not rooted in soil.
