Had a giant-brained moment when figuring out an outfit for my Wilds hunter and I'm really happy with how he turned out.

I'm also trying to chip away at his lore so some things are subject to change.

I showed this screenshot on my main blog but figured any monhun artists would like to see it to so here you go!

Been trying to make one for rathian for ages now just never liked how it turned out. Either that or I’d stop halfway through for a few weeks and then forget what brush I was using or my pressure settings changed and now the lines look completely different on the front and back half of the line art xD

Normally I’d use this base for my other rathian sub/variant but that was doesn’t fly. So ig I’ll just have to make another base 🙄

Really wanted to draw Link again + my rathian subspecies as the featured monster. More or less just wanted to doodle a little and colored it on a whim.

Her design in-game was based off my worldborne hunter, so I may connect them/make them the same person.

Link finds himself in an unfortunate spot after being sent to Minoue Village to investigate some strange goings on with their surrounding environments. It's not often you're attacked by another hunter, let alone a wyverian.

Includes a colored and non-colored version coz I wasn't sure how much I liked the coloring.

Most of this ref done thanks to MHRS, poses, refs, etc, to make my life easier, and changing things I needed changed. It probably would've taken way longer than a day if I had done the reference parts from scratch.

I wanted him to have kind of a bard-trader-hunter kinda vibe, being a hunting horn main and all (though he has a wide variety of weapons at his disposal). I think the dignified set really helps? Maybe expect more armor sets though? I'm not entirely sure. It completely depends on what styles I discover as I experiment in rise and older games. I know for a fact that Zelda's design is gonna be more iceborne-inspired tho.

His first impression is usually rather sour, he doesn't ever talk all that much and his resting face doesn't help his case. Getting to know him though, he's a bit of a gremlin and rather eccentric behind the scenes.
