Sitting on the ground, hands reach for the journal now tossed beside him from said near-death experience. Hastily stuffing it back into his vest, eyes move to his twin, who seemed to be fine — physically and mentally, judging by her interests already moving onto their next meal. Then again, with the adrenaline finally wearing off, he could feel the shaking protests of his stomach kicking in. Almost-dying all the time really did work up an appetite.   “ Actually...yeah, I could go for something to eat, ”   he agrees, pushing himself back up to his feet and readjusting his baseball cap, then holding out a helpful hand to Mabel.

So...that one post about druid-necromancers plays so nicely into my ballagarraidh dorian au story thing

Dorian who first found out he had magic when he was five and woke up to a garden in his room. whose best friend was his servant maid- an elderly elf woman.and who actually did have a close relationship with his mother but they were both oppressed in that house hold.

I love dorian being more than just some, ditzy death mage. because in all reality he would have such an extensive knowledge of arcane and anatomy and he’d be an amazing healer and i feel that the fans really miss out on his full magical potential.

i really need to work on this story more, and maybe upload that prolgue some time soon. also dorian brought bees with him to skyhold- non negotiable he carried a precious tiny colony and set them up in the fortress and he DESPISES seras antics.

@ballagarraidh. jay loved playing tourney, but it was clear that all of their rival teams were out to get him just because he was from the isle. it had gotten to the point where jay was picking fights with the rival teams before the games even started, just so everyone could get it out of their systems. so at evie's words? when she's trying to clean him up after? he can't help but shrug his shoulders. ❝ they deserved it. ❞ he responded immediately, ❝ i can't keep letting people treat me like shit just because of who my dad is. it doesn't make me any less of a person. ❞

@ballagarraidh. ❝ who cares? ❞ ronan shrugged his shoulders, moving closer to adam and cupping his cheek and pressing a kiss to his lips. kissing adam parrish in a church was probably one of the most sacrilegious things that ronan had ever done, but ronan didn't care. he wanted adam, and he wanted him everywhere, any time, and nothing else mattered. ❝ it's just quiet enough here that we can make the most of this. ❞

@ballagarraidh. alec blinks at izzy's words, his brow furrowed in what can only be described as absolute confusion. he knows his sister has violent tendencies, and he has never expected her to change that. she is who she is. but he doesn't understand why izzy is jumping right to murder at this exact moment. ❝ why? ❞ alec asks, raising an eyebrow, ❝ i'm pretty sure if i needed to murder someone, i could take them out myself. i'm good like that. ❞

@ballagarraidh. jesper can't help but raise an eyebrow as inej speaks. he quickly looks around the room to make sure that she realizes she's talking to him and not anyone else. but he's the only one there ... so she clearly thinks he has some kind of power in the situation. ❝ how do you think i'm going to do that? ❞ jesper asked, an eyebrow arching ever higher as they talk, ❝ this is kaz we're talking about. he's probably the most stubborn guy in all or ketterdamn. maybe even all of kerch! i'm ... just jesper. ❞

@ballagarraidh. she can't help as she stares at stiles for a long moment after his words, trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with him. cora doesn't like the idea of anything being wrong with him, and she doesn't necessarily know what to do in order to help him. ❝ what happened? ❞ she asked, moving closer to him and cupping his chin, gazing into his eyes to see if there was something she could pick up on. but there was nothing. nothing obvious at least. ❝ i'm gonna need a little more detail, stiles. ❞
