Man I thought... There'd at least be a version of Scar? And Ishvalans? That's kind of a major bummer

I mean, we knew from the moment the cast was announced that no, there would not be. 

During the Q&A, Sori said that because FMA has so many characters and they only had so much time in the movie, they had to sort of pick and choose which characters were right for the plot they wound up going with in order to keep it to a manageable level, and that he hopes to include more characters such as Scar in potential sequels.

I saw that rumour JUST before MVCI got announced that Marvel were using it entirely to shill the movie characters and put huge constraints on Capcom. Didn't believe it. Do now

im normally one to take stuff like that with a grain of salt, but id be inclined to believe it as well :^/

I never watched either series but what I always loved about them in the comics were how stable they were? And just secure in their relationship. So their whole... Thing in the shows is a big part of why I never ended up watching either

Yeah I’m a huge fan of their relationship too! Which is exactly why it baffles me so much that they decided to blow it that early for an emotional arc for Jessica.

I’d still say watch Luke Cage though if possible. It has nothing to do with that and Luke dated Claire in comics first anyway, so it’s nothing all that canon-breaking.
