Bagan, Myanmar. An ancient city located in the Mandaly region of Myanmar. Between the 11th and 13th centuries 10,000 Buddhist temples were constructed through the Bagan plains of which the remains of over 2200 temples and pagodas are still standing today. Having been to Angkor in Cambodia I can see why many think this archeological zone in on par with Angkor Wat. We figured taking a hot air balloon over this vast space would be the best way to see it...
