My first A3 sized gouache painting for Tian Guan Ci Fu. I finished this in the end of 2020 and I remember this so vividly. This was so much fun to paint. I think this drawing really made me understand how much I love using gouache and I really enjoy the contrasts of Xie Lian's light figure while little Honghong'er is just very desaturated.

Lush rain forrest waterfall hike - good for escaping the afternoon heat!

This hike is a good side trip if you have a few hours to spare and want to escape the crowds of Waikiki.  The hike is shady nearly the whole way through so it’s a good option as as afternoon hike to avoid the strong sun.
