I want to send you like fifteen DA prompts this is golden. Solas x Lavellan and 21?
I know right? I love these prompts!
21. “We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?”
Solas glanced over at Lavellan and his lips quirked at the sight. The usually cheerful and composed inquisitor was soaked and frowning. Droplets of water were running down their short hair, giving them a wet-puppy sort of look.
"It’s merely rain, ma vhenan. And I’m hardly worried about the lightning.” Solas let a spark fly between his fingers as he spoke. “I would like to look at these ruins. Their whispers are… intriguing. You may go back to camp without me, if you wish.”
"And risk you staying out here all night and then trying to sleep out here in this storm? No." Lavellan sighed and leaned against one of the ruins, watching Solas. The mage had been studying the writing on one of the nearby pillars, but he now had closed his eyes and seemed to be almost meditating. Lavellan stayed quiet, not wanting to interrupt, but enjoying the view. Rain was streaming down Solas’ head and face, collecting in his eyebrows and darkening his cloak.
"What is it you are thinking about?" Solas’ eyes were still closed, and his voice was soft.
”Arla." Lavellan responded, equally quiet.
Solas opened his eyes and looked at Lavellan. “Home?” He sounded surprised. “I did not think you put much stock in the idea of a permanent home.”
The elf did not reply for a moment. “I didn’t. I don’t.”
Solas was more focused on the other elf now. “But?”
The Inquisitor looked down at their feet. “Na’lath dar ma’arla. You have become my home when I thought I had none.”
Solas closed the distance between them and cupped Lavellan’s cheek in his hand, raising their gaze so their eyes met. His face was a cloud of emotions, joy and caution, mixed with something close to fear.
"Ma’arlath," he said softly. His face darkened and his hand dropped. "But do not make your home in others."
Lavellan frowned, and was about to say something, but was interrupted by their own sneeze.
Solas chucked quietly. “Perhaps we have felt enough rain for today. I can come back tomorrow. After all it would be practically blasphemous for the Herald of Andraste to develop a common cold.”
The so-called Herald of Andraste, Leader of the Inquisition, stuck their tongue out at the mage.
"Let’s go home."

How much would you need? I could pitch in some money for you. I got mine on sale at Mountain Equipment Co-Op for like 40 bucks I think, but again that was a good deal.
Oh no it's okay uwu I got work so I can afford it. It just might be a week or two to do it. I can live with my shoes until then. :) Thanks though! I'm looking on Amazon and some hiking/sports goods stores to find any good deals.

Could you invest in a decent pair of light weight hiking boots? I’ve had a pair I’ve used to walk to the bus, work in, and pretty much everything else, for over two years. They don’t breath well but worth it I think.
I don't know. :/ The ones I have right now, I bought some time in like...October? I think? Since I walk to work, they tak a lot of wear and tear, and I guess I could make them last a while, but one of the shoes has worn down the material to the point I /think/ there's a hole? I could probably buy a pair, but I'd need to save up some money, and the only way to get a decent pair would be to go to a sports store and those tend to be pricy, and there aren't any where I live. :/

bamfire replied to your post “My throat is feeling not great and im out of lemon ginger tea so I...”
What did you do to make it? I've been trying to find a good way to make my own ginger tea but it never goes well. I get this stuff from TnT that's like little beads in packets that's good, but I'm sure not as natural
I looked at the first few things that popped up when I googled how to make it haha and picked the simplest looking one. I peeled and diced a tablespoon of ginger and let it soak in boiling water in a strainer over my teapot for 10 minutes, then squeezed half a lemon's worth of juice into the pot, added a slice of lemon, and put in a tablespoon of honey. I've literally drank the entire tea pot's worth in the last hour and feel better already haha
