Why tf are fireworks, especially firecrackers, still legal? They are literally the reason I don’t like New Year’s Eve and the surrounding days.

Why can't we spend New Year's Eve differently I don't get it why people like to stare at loud, annoying and terribly smelling glow bombs which are by the way very dangerous if you get close to them and why don't we care about people traumatized by war and the animals and pets out there who spend a night full of terror and fear instead of having fun celebrating the new year
