Okay, I’m sick and stuck at home atm with nothing to do, so I thought I’d pop by and ask you something. When you first started your tumblr, how long did it take for people to actually start seeing your stuff. Bc I’ve been linking mine everywhere I can, especially Wattpad since I have quite a good bit of followers on there. And I have so many Fox’s and ideas but I kinda don’t want to put them on here if no one will see them, as stupid as that sounds. I just don’t know 😂💜
okay so i’m sorry for answering this late but i wanted to answer it on my laptop rather than the mobile app that i use lol anywaY. First off: this is my second blog. I’ve been on tumblr for a long while before I started writing in 2017.
I deleted my old blog that only picked up after my priest au (that offended some ppl and i had to take it down jkncjbcel) BUT i was barely active. i would post here and there. i’ve had this blog for over 4 months now and only gotten traffic on it when i turned on anon asks again about 2 weeks ago? i had it off.
What i’ve noticed is that if you’re more active, engage with your followers and engage with other people; your stuff will eventually get attention. don’t be discouraged by low notes when you start posting. Because that can REALLY bring you down as a writer if you get too involved with those little numbers at the bottom. I’ve only gotten this much attention because i’ve been so active lately lmao. Since my regular study semester ended and I can write. It all happens slowly but surely so my advice: go for it!! Join networks if you want to make connections and friends for writing advice but that’s about it i think? I hope this was helpful bc im v v sure i repeated myself a lot on there lmao.
