Immediately gonna put the headcanon out there that Alistar just has narcolepsy and just passed out every time Martyn had to control Frogue. They even in-character address Alistar had suddenly fallen asleep and Ren saying it’s normal for him iirc. He’s just the Narcoleptic Knight.

Also gonna put the headcanon that Ren lets Alistar lay against his shoulder/him whenever he gets an attack and they’re nearby like at the banquet. He’s just used to his knight being like that and doesn’t mind.

So I know that the whole Alistar any/all pronouns thing was a total accident. But I'm low key obsessed with the idea of a fairly stereotypically masculine big and muscular knight (secret rogue spy, I don't know what's going on) using any/all pronouns as basically a power play. Just imagine: "Ha! You think you're a man just because you have some muscles. Well, I'm so confident in my own strength and identity that I don't care how you see me or what you refer to me as. Every day I break gender stereotypes with my bare hands and eat them for breakfast." and then she flips his hair and does that Major Armstrong shirt burst glitter pose ✨️
