I have had to drive him around everywhere for the past 6 months, since he's unable to drive due to charcot joint in his foot, and rather than paying me for gas or something, he just buys me things. Even though he can be kind of opinionated and mean to me at times, he really enjoys buying things for me that I want. I kept asking, "Are you sure?" because wow $170. But he said he was and that he buys collector's editions of stuff all the time, so he knows how it is.
