They both didn't really have a family and found in each other a love stronger than they'd ever been given before (whether it was platonic or romantic doesn't even matter). They chased their dreams together and lived an ephemeral fairytale.

Yuki always felt that he lived in a world of gray--until he meets Banri, who fills his world with color. When other people laugh, Banri listens, and Yuki can't help but cling to his every word like a desert wanderer finally stumbling upon an oasis. To his own surprise, Yuki begins to realize that he's finally found someone worth sharing his music and time with. The two of them start a band, and their success begins to grow along with their feelings for one another until an untimely tragedy hits....

When Banri suddenly disappears, Yuki is certain that he'll be unable to pick the pieces of his life back up. But Momo will do everything it takes if it means he can hear Yuki sing again, even if it means their days together are numbered.

Note: This is a retelling of the canon timeline of Re:Vale with the intention of making the relationships more explicit. Scenes, quotes, and lyrics were taken from the anime, game, and Re:member manga. Additional creative twists and scenes were added by me, but the bare bones of the plot is all canon-driven.
